This express tour is ideal for beginners or groups, offering photo opportunities at picturesque overlooks, historic river sites from the 1920s, included snacks, and chances to see wildlife such as bighorn sheep and bald eagles. With high-quality equipment, professional guides, and the option for large group bookings, this adventure stands out as a must-do just a short drive from Las Vegas.
- We offer single or tandem (2 seater) kayaks. Please specify which kayak you would prefer.
- The Emerald Cave is just a small cutout of the mountain for a great photo op!
- If you select self drive option, you will be meeting us at the marina. Have reliable transportation to meet us, there is NO cell service at the marina to call a ride share.
- If you have chosen and paid for this tour with shuttle, pick up times are: Venetian 110 minutes before, Bellagio 100 minutes before and Mandalay Bay 90 minutes before your tour start time

A great activity adventure. - While staying in Las Vegas , decided to book this kayak activity instead of the usual Vegas experiences. Let me tell you if you want to get outdoors and do a little kayak workout on a fantastic lake, this is the tour to take. Our guide Faith was awesome. Picked us up at the Venetian where we stayed and got us to the destination comfortably and was informative about the locale and also Kayak preparation and instruction. A very fun and relaxing experience with a little kayak workout on a beautiful lake. Thanks for a great time.

The best kayaking trip! - Faith was amazing throughout our kayaking trip. She even got into a water gun fight with my kids! The tour itself was really fun. The 3 hour trip in the kayaks went by incredibly fast. The best part was a dip in the ice cold water of the Colorado river!

Fun Adventure - Not only was the cove beautiful, the whole experience was great. Our guide Calvin was awesome. He was fun, knowledgeable and took the time to get to know all of us in the group. The journey to the cove was about 2 miles. My husband and I were each in our own kayak. If you’ve not been kayaking before, it may be a bit challenging to keep up, especially on the 2 mile journey back to the beach. It’s very hot but the water temp stays cold at around 53 degrees, which felt amazing and helps to stay cool. Overall experience was great. Would definitely recommend.

Nice day trip close to Vegas - We had a great time kayaking on the Colorado River with our tour guide, Maggie. I initially wasn’t sure how difficult this would be but it was not hard at all. We luckily saw quite a few BigHorn Sheep grazing and multiple species of birds and fish. Maggie was very knowledgeable on the animals and native plants in the area. Although the temp was over 100 on the day we went, it was not noticeable as the water temp was 53. We went on the 9am tour which meant we did not get to see the beautiful green water in the cave because the area was shaded but we did not have to wait to go in the cave which was nice. Maggie did mention that tours in the afternoon have to wait sometimes over an hour to go in due to more people taking tours at that time when the green water is most vibrant. We still were able to see the green water across from the cave and it was beautiful. I can’t comment on the transportation because we drove ourselves. I highly recommend this tour.

Cooling off, fun and action - Our guide was entertaining and fun. ES was very well taken care of. ES was also a great way to cool off in the heat of Las Vegas. We even had water pistols so we could cool down even more and had a lot of SPA on the water. Best decision and recommended to everyone.

Excellent tour! Beautiful scenery! Great staff! - Jeff was exceptionally knowledgeable on the surrounding landscape and the history of the area. He had a great sense of humor and gave us a fun as well as educational tour. We would highly recommend a tour with Jeff!
