This express tour is ideal for beginners or groups, offering photo opportunities at picturesque overlooks, historic river sites from the 1920s, included snacks, and chances to see wildlife such as bighorn sheep and bald eagles. With high-quality equipment, professional guides, and the option for large group bookings, this adventure stands out as a must-do just a short drive from Las Vegas.
- We offer single or tandem (2 seater) kayaks. Please specify which kayak you would prefer.
- The Emerald Cave is just a small cutout of the mountain for a great photo op!
- If you select self drive option, you will be meeting us at the marina. Have reliable transportation to meet us, there is NO cell service at the marina to call a ride share.
- If you have chosen and paid for this tour with shuttle, pick up times are: Venetian 110 minutes before, Bellagio 100 minutes before and Mandalay Bay 90 minutes before your tour start time

Well worth the cost and perfect lil adventure!! Family friendly - Our tour guy was excellent! We truly had an amazing and relaxing time. We were so worried at first about it being too cold this time of year, but we had perfect weather and we didn’t get wet or even damp. The actual cave was not what we thought - a small nook. However, the entire adventure on getting there was amazing. Our kids had a blast. The tandem kayaks were perfect! Easy to use.
I should mention, the tour was in Nevada time so make sure you clarify this. Water shoes are a must.
Also, don’t be late!! You hold up the tour for everyone else.

Great Experience! - My girlfriend and I planned a long weekend in Las Vegas, but were however looking for something to do off the strip...found this tour and it was amazing! Faith was our guide, she was great at communicating before the trip, and continued with an amazing adventure and a ton of information while traveling down the river. It was an amazing day with Faith!

Beautiful experience - We booked the 3hr tour and Ryan was our guide. He was exceptional and fun to hang out with. He made our experience really enjoyable and he was very entertaining too with great banter.

Loved the Emerald Cave kayak tour!! - Amazing kayaking adventure on the Colorado River!! The scenery is breathtaking. Our tour guide, Jeff, was very knowledgeable, friendly and made sure everyone was having a great time. We did the 3 hour tour.....would highly recommend it!!!

Fantastic Escape into Nature - Loved our morning off the Strip and in nature. Bald eagles, big horn sheep and the emerald cave were great - fun history of the area, too. Ryan was a great guide - the small group of 6 was perfect with Evolution Expeditions. I would recommend to anyone!

A wonderful experience! - I had the pleasure of kayaking on the Colorado River to Emerald Cave with Ray as our groups guide. It was so much fun paddling and getting all the historic and geological information about the area. A beautiful day and wonderful experience! Ray was incredibly patient and kind with the beginners in our group and very knowledgeable about the area!

Beautiful Way to Experience the River - A group of girlfriends came to visit and we booked this tour for a Saturday. Faith was our guide and we could not have had a better time! The kayaks were well maintained and stable. Faith was so knowledgeable and prepared to share interesting information while on the river regarding the history and the environment. Emerald Cove was gorgeous and we had a lot of photo ops! Definitely one of my favorite ways to enjoy the Colorado River.
