Allow a full day and wear comfy shoes! - You need to allow a full day for this. Our guide, Elizabeth, was very knowledgeable full of facts and dates and names! But if you go into the various houses there are people in costume who, if you engage with them, will tell you everything you need to know about their speciality. The only thing we were annoyed about is that we paid for Elizabeth to be our guide but we were unaware we had to pay to get into these houses which did add another £50 to our day.

You won't regret taking this walking tour. - This 3-hour walking tour was my first introduction to Colonial Williamsburg, and our guide, Elizabeth, did a wonderful job reminding me of much of the American Revolution I had forgotten and the importance of Williamsburg itself. I appreciated her extensive knowledge of this extremely important time period in our nation's birth. I highly recommend this walking tour.

Don’t miss this wonderful experience! - Tom, our guide who has more than four decades of experience with colonial Williamsburg, was beyond amazing! He gave us so many interesting facts and trivia, and went way above what we expected. He made this fabulous colonial Williamsburg experience truly a superb trip for my daughter and myself and one that we will always remember. He was so good. It’s almost embarrassing with how little we paid for this tour. Needless to say it was well worth the money!
