Broken down tuktuks - We rented 5 tuktuks with a group of 20 people while in Curacao on a cruise. Initial correspondence was terrific, Janna was responsive and accommodating to our request for a more personalized tour. Unfortunately things took a turn when one of our tuktuks kept breaking down. This delayed the entire day and we were unable to spend more than 30 minutes at the two beaches we really wanted to spend time at. The tour began in the downtown area for a photo opportunity that didn't work out because we had no where to park, yet we pulled over behind other parked vehicles (bloocking them in) for repairs to one of the tuktuks. It was hot, 9:30am, and they chose that as the time to provide us with empanadas for lunch. None of us were hungry because we had just ate breakfast. From there, we broke down at a stoplight, and again at the Aloe Plantation where the tuktuk was deemed unusable. We then had to cram 20 people into 4 tuktuks in order to continue. I requested we move on because we had 5 children with us and could not continue to sit there in a hot gravel driveway awaiting repairs. We finally got to JanTheil Beach, where parking was again a nightmare, and we only got to stay for 30 minutes. Our last stop was at Mambo Beach, to which we took a wrong turn to get to, allowing us just 40 minutes to explore. A complete upset. When we returned to our meeting point on time, another tuktuk was missing, and our guide was no where to be seen. I contacted Janna asking for him to locate his driver. I was given the excuse that the driver was in the restroom. A restroom he had 40 minutes to use, so the late excuse was ridiculous. We were risking being late to board the cruise ship, so I let Janna know we would be calling a taxi if his driver did not return. The driver did arrive after about 15 minutes beyond our meeting time, and he had no idea where the missing tuktuk was. The ride back to the boat was extremely unsafe as we were pulled over by someone else delivering another tuktuk, and we proceeded through 2 red lights to make it back to the boat. Janna did not offer apologies for the situation, refunds, or contact me to make things right. Very very disappointed in this tour and in our tour guides.
