Our private guided tour... - Our private guided tour of Curaçao was amazing!!! Anita our guide and Victor our driver were very detailed oriented and let us plan our day. We visited the Hato Caves, went swimming with sea turtles and tropical fish, and visited Shete Boka National Park. The west side of Curacao was very beautiful and Anita told about the culture and history of this island. Door to door pick up and drop off, best air conditioning, snacks/drinks, and towels/snorkel gear wear all available. This was the BEST start of our first trip to Curaçao and Anita even fished up our trip with a list of places to visit during our stay on the island. Private tour is unbeatable - you won’t be disappointed!!!

A MUST in Curaçao! - Wow what can we say!! This tour was everything we wanted. We explored the entire island, we snorkeled at beautiful beaches, saw a sea turtle, stopped to see the wild flamingoes, stopped to eat lunch at Playa Forti and it was DELICIOUS, and we even stopped at a gallery and bought some local art. Our guide Anita and driver were absolutely fabulous and we could not recommend this tour more. If you want a private tour of the whole island - this is absolutely the way to go. We got snacks and a cooler full of drinks included. We also did the tour on a Sunday and a lot of the stores in Willemstad were closed, however, our guides brought the city to us and even brought the Curacao liqueur for us to do a personal tasting! When they say they will do anything for you that you want, they mean it! Wherever you want to go, they will cater to you!! The tour was so fun and we learned so much about the beautiful country of Curaçao. Thank you Anita for everything!!! ❤️

Best day ever! - We were picked up promptly by Jeannette and Anita. We had some trouble finding them due to all the other tours being there for pickup and they texted me directions to help us find our way. We had an entire shuttle bus to ourselves. It was very clean and stocked with waters, soda, towels and snorkel equipment. They were both so friendly and kept us safe while showing us their beautiful island. They took us everywhere we wanted to go and gave us perfect suggestions to make our day complete. We lucked out and saw some flamingos at the Old salt flats, spent several hours at Daaibooi Beach snorkeling with beautiful fish and sea turtles, placed a lock on the fencing where the Punda Love Hearts used to be in honor of our anniversary, went to Kokomo Beach to get a picture in the water swing, toured the Curacao distillery and had a taste testing and refreshing drink. We learned so much history about the island from Anita. It really was the perfect day and we can’t wait to come back! You won’t regret booking this tour.

Curacao Gems and Secrets - My wife and I have traveled all over the world and have used numerous travel companies to take excursions, but Anita at Sunurai travel made our experience exceptional. We had a private day trip covering both the east and west side of Curacao. She know the island and culture having lived there for twenty plus years. Anita made our trip informative and took us to all the sites , Turtles, flamingos , pigs and even outrages. Some great snorkeling and dinning locations as well. If you’re thinking of touring the island I highly recommend Samurai and Anita …they are awesome.

Our Tour - Ruth did a great job showing us around the island. We totally enjoyed the history of the island and many of the special site we saw. She was kind enough to set up a lunch for us, which was excellent. We went to the beaches, saw the turtles, and watch the waves crash against the land - absolutely spectacular.

Private tour is the best way to spend the day! - Samurai did a masterful job with this private tour. From start to finish, it was relaxing, fun filled, and we accomplished all we could in our full day with Anita and Nadine. First, the transportation was incredible. We were in a very clean and well maintained van clearly marked under the Samurai banner. The air conditioning was next level and kept us cool between stops. Nadine drove us around like nothing I’ve ever seen. Never stressed, never rushed, and in control the entire time. We changed plans once during the day and Nadine didn’t bat an eye - just whipped the van around, took us to the next stop and we continued about our journey. Anita is a pure joy. Watching her interact with her friends on the island really personalizes the tour. How everyone treats each other is so refreshing. And once Anita introduces you, you seem to get sucked right into their conversation like old friends. Anita is full of history, culture, and information about the island that you feel that there is no question she can’t answer. And the little things that she throws in along the way keep you entertained all day long. During one of our rides between stops, she had Nadine pull off near a plantation to show us a grave of a slave and shared his story. It was an amazing story and showcases just how neat a personalized tour can be. To prepare - I actually wrote about 10 things down that I felt my wife and teenage daughter would enjoy. We were able to accomplish most of my list! Anita simply took my list, organized it according to how best to drive from one spot to the next and we were off! We visited the caves, the national park, flamingos, had an amazing lunch at a popular local restaurant, spent time on both sides of Queen Emma Bridge, and made my daughter’s day by visiting the Parfum Lab in Curacao where she was able to make her own perfume to serve as a reminder of her time on Curacao. But all along the way, to listen and watch Anita interact with her friends was top notch. Once, a shop owner actually opened his store for us simply because Anita ran into him on the street. At another time, we were introduced to an amazing artist that was painting in her studio. She was so gracious and humble and I was able to buy a piece of her work. I’m telling you - if you want an authentic and original tour catered to you - give Samurai a call. I can’t speak for the other guides but I can say you’ll have an amazing day with Anita and Nadine!! Thanks ladies for making our time one we will not forget!

No true schedule - We were told we would be back at the ship at 2 because our ship leaves at 3:30. Our driver decided to pick us up at 2:40 with a 20 minute drive back to port. Sadly we missed the beach which was where I wanted to go. It’s ridiculous that he extended time for one cruise ship, which took the beach away from the other cruise group. Just don’t believe them if you are on a time frame.
