Visit to the temples - We spent a long time traveling from Chiang Mai to see the three temples. The temples were an amazing sight to behold. The guide and driver were very respectful and friendly. It was a worthwhile experience, 'm happy I did it.

The simply majestic white temple - The white temple and the whole site, everything is wonder.
The blue temple and the red temple also have their personality
and are interesting, but the white temple exceeds everything.

A lot of travel time - This trip was as advertised with a long journey to reach Chiang Rai. This does result in fairly limited times at each temple however in order to see all of them in the day I was happy with this and the timings were just right for me personally.

Temples and more Temples - WOW, this temple tour was on top of my list, it was so much more from what I expected. We had the best guide, funny, helpful....so knowledgeable.
It was a wonderful day.

White, blue and red for Thailand of the temples - We enjoyed being in a small van with a small group of guests (Max 12) we were in 7.
Hotel pick up included in the price , guide and top driver. The journey is long but you still have time to appreciate the cultural visit. Lunch is plentiful and done in a local a few steps from the blue temple - basic and essential but varied lunch- Thai taste.
A couple of stops, one of which is paid.
The spas are a stop along the way for a coffee - nothing fancy but pleasant to dip your feet in the warm waters.

Chiang Rai Temples are a must see - The trip to Chiang Rai is fascinating. The three temples are phenomenal. Curb your expectations on the hot springs. Sami our guide is a great guy unfortunately his English is not so good. He also did not have a lot to add beyond what could read ourselves. He did a great job getting us where we needed to be.
Beware that the only road between Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai is now and will be under construction. Traffic will add 1-2 hours to your round trip

Chiang Rai Temple Tours - I booked this trip on 23 Dec 2025 for my birthday celebration with my husband.
It was a long trip and the temples are beautiful. The Hot Spring was also nice with the shopping areas around there.
However, abit disappointed with the Guide who could not speak proper English. She was struggling with her speech and those sitting behind could not hear or understand her. She seemed inexperienced, did not provide much information of the places and we were left pretty much on our own to explore. It is good if your Guide can explain the history of the places in an interesting manner. Otherwise the long day trip becomes boring.
