Fantastic! - The experience was incredible. My husband and I were able to swim alone with a whale. They were very punctual with the transfers and meeting points, but the bus was very uncomfortable and cramped. Maia, our guide on the boat, was super kind to us and helped us feel at home at all times. Their boat team with Pinocho and Lester was great. We would have liked, however, to be able to enjoy a little more time on Isla Mujeres. Thank you very much for everything! P.S.: The ceviche was exquisite.

Awesome whale shark - Beautiful experience, an adventure in the open sea. Maria Grazia was spectacular; I recommend her as a guide, she is very sweet and super attentive to everything. Perfect day

WOW! Amazing experience. - This was AMAZING. Total bucket list experience. Wow wow wow. Blue Caribe was SO great at rescheduling my husband and me after he got sick and had to spend a couple of days in the hospital. This was a top notch professional organization beginning to end. They were even kind and caring when a few people had motion sickness during the trip. They made sure that everyone had a good time and a great experience with the whale sharks. I would 100% recommend this trip.

Amazing - i had such a wonderful experience swimming next to whale sharks..we were lucky enough to see a bunch of dolphins on the journey. all the stuff was very professional and friendly,on our way back we stopped in front of Isla Mujeres for a nice Ceviche. ¡ 100% reccommed !

Great experience, bad communication. - To start off, the experience of seeing the whale sharks with my family was amazing. The pick up time was delayed but that's understandable because there is construction around the hotel zone. The first guide who picked us up was great, Maya was very friendly. However, the second guide, I think her name was Katy, didn't even know we were in her group. I wanted to engage and talk to her about what to expect but seems like her attention was only for the other 4 people in her group. I want to think it wasn't her fault and someone didn't tell her she had 4 more people in her group. Because of this lack of communication, we didn't get video or pictures of our experience with Blue Caribe. I know it seems like a lot, but my complaint is with the lack of communication from Blue Caribe with their guides, they should've let their guide know the total number of people in their group and the guide should've also checked who was in their group. Thankfully, captain Toño and Steven, the boat contractors I guess, greatly made up for the lack of attention and we got some great memories on video from them.

Photos and videos - The experience of swimming with whale sharks is unbelievable and I would recommend to anyone to do. We saw turtles and loads of dolphins on the boat on our way to the whale sharks. Kenny the guide was brilliant and communicated really well. The bit that has really irritated me and puts the score down is on arrival back to land we were sold the package of videos and pictures from the trip. We paid 60 dollars but had to wait an hour and half for the card machine. Then we were told the pictures could take up to 72 hrs. I never received these so I have contacted the company to a response they’ve been sent. I explained I’ve not received them and proved payment and gave my email and mobile number again. The company is now ignoring me so would tell people to be careful.

A tale of extremes - This experience was both extremely bad and extremely good. Background: my partner and I are advanced SCUBA divers and typically schedule a non-dive excursion the day before leaving because you must wait 24 hours to fly after a dive. This would be my 3rd whale shark excursion over the past 15 years, but my partner's first. We specifically chose our vacation location and dates to have this experience. The good; Reservations were easy and communication was polite and prompt. The guide (Oscar) was fabulous and was clearly very invested in our experience. The gentleman taking photos and video was excellent and I am thrilled with the results we will be able to share with others. The staging area (before and after) was shaded and relatively comfortable... just not for the lengths of time we had to wait at both ends. Men's room was apparently not clean but I had no issues with the ladies room. We saw an incredible amount of whale sharks and are thrilled with all that made that happen. The bad: Because it was our last day, I was cautious to confirm every detail. Approximately 12 hours before pick up, I emailed to confirm the time and received a blunt response that it was the same time as on my confirmation email. We got up early to be waiting on time and, after no one showed for 15-20 minutes I started emailing and texting to see what happened. Even after confirming just hours prior, they did not have us on the list to pick up and asked if we could switch days (not possible). Any hour later, someone was rerouted to get us. The wait to actually get on a boat once you got to the location was another hour. The food was minimal for the waiting area. For lunch, I had a sandwich but no seafood salad. My partner never even got a sandwich. The drinks were plentiful, though. The only other complaint I had was how we were often talked down to and scolded. Like I said, I'm an advanced diver and go in and out of boats with equipment all the time. Once, when waiting to access the ladder to board the boat again, the photographer pulled off one of my fins (I guess to help?). When I got on the boat I was scolded for taking off my fins before getting to the ladder!! So... mixed experience. Glad we went and glad we have some great keepsakes and memories but it certainly wasn't a smooth or consistently pleasant experience.
