Great experience - Was a very pleasant flight enjoying the Avon Valley from above. Our pilot Tanguy was very informative and had a great sense of humour. His knowledge and skills as a pilot were highlighted as he completed a perfect and smooth landing with pin point accuracy at the Northham air strip.

Amazing morning hot air ballooning in Avon Valley - Fantastic way to see the first sunrise in spring. Fantastic conditions. The sensation is like nothing you have ever experienced. Not at all scary. Really beautiful and peaceful. I’m very lucky to have experienced this

Amazing 'Bucket List' Adventure! - This has long been on our bucket list, and we were blown away (literally!). The adventure takes you from the convoy of minibuses and trailers loaded with equipment to the take-off paddock. We got to see the unloading, inflating, as well as deflating after landing. The flight with our pilot Dean was spectacular overing the canola fields and lush crops. Dean was very informative and passionate about us having the best experience possible. It was a bonus to walk around in the deflated balloon on landing and help pack it all up! Would thoroughly recommend Windward Ballooning - easy booking, very friendly and professional staff. We knew we were in safe hands. Top tip - stay in Northam for a few days to enjoy the Avon Valley!

Must do experience - What a gorgeous way to spend a birthday. This experience was awesome the views for miles where spectacular. There was humour amongst everyone so good to see was such fun and the Breakfast was amazing. Well done everyone.

The early start was worth it …. - What an awesome experience!! The early departure from Perth was well worth the effort. Shane and Brenton made sure we were prepped and ready to go and Brian kept us informed (and amused) during the flight and even put on an amazing sunrise 🌅 A very gentle landing and quick and efficient pack up by the team rounded out a great trip. Hot air ballooning is such a beautiful experience and I would highly recommend Windward Ballooning if you’re looking to experience it for yourself 🤩

Highly recommended. Great experience - Take off and landing and flight all smooth. Had bumpier landings with Qantas. Excellent pilot - very experienced and knowledgeable. The coffee on arrival was much appreciated on a very cold morning. The breakfast after the flight was great A very good value trip

Spectacular views of the sun rising over the Avon Valley - Windward Ballooning run a very slick operation. From arrival at the Hangar at 5.30am with hot drinks to ward off the 3C outside temperatures, to the sharing of the flight photos and videos (at no extra cost) everything was well thought through. The balloon basket and the whole flight was very comfortable. There were 20 passengers in the basket all with smiles on their faces, which meant there were many hands to help with the unloading and repacking of the balloon in different farmers fields. The pilot and the ground crew were very experienced, made everyone feel safe and provided lots of info during the flight. Can't recommend highly enough. Do it !

Amazing Experience - We had an amazing time on our balloon flight. We felt very safe in the staff’s capable hands. Brian the pilot was entertaining and well informed. Was worth every cent and we would definitely recommend Windward Ballooning!
