Excellent Tour, Fantastic Guide and a Brilliant Way to Discover Leeds - I recently joined one of the guided tours hosted by Leeds Food Tours and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly and clearly passionate about both Leeds and its history, which made the whole event feel relaxed, engaging and genuinely memorable. The mix of local stories, hidden gems and food stops was excellent, and it gave me a completely different perspective on the city. It struck a really good balance between being informative without ever feeling overly scripted or rushed. Everything was very well organised from start to finish, and the atmosphere throughout was welcoming and enjoyable. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Leeds or even locals who think they already know the city well. I’ll definitely be booking onto some of the other city tours in future and would love to explore more locations with the same guide and team.

I discovered corners of whose existence I had never known - I've been coming to this city for years, but thanks to this tour I only realized how many culinary highlights I'd missed so far. Our guide took us not only to the well-known addresses, but also to these insider tips that only locals know. Everything we tasted was incredibly fresh, and the portions were much larger than expected. If you're interested in Leeds' gastronomic scene, don't miss this tour.

Delicious food on tour - Fabulous afternoon of eating across the venues chosen for us. My personal favourite was the taco in neon cactus but it was very close. We also visited the Underground Bakery to sample their goods and buy some bread after tasting! Into the fantastic Kirkgate market to try some delicious gyozas from Amazing Gyoza, then a walk to one of our favourite restaurants in Leeds, Stuzzi for an oozing arancini. Up to the Chilli shop for a lock in of trying chilli sauces which were all very different and the entertaining Frank leading us through the chilli heat. Back down to the outskirts of the station for some Indian street food from Delhi Wala - lots of different dishes were sampled. Lastly a walk to the iconic Corn exchange for ice cream from The Melting Pot. You definitely need your walking shoes on and preferably a fine day. Thanks to Lynda for her knowledge of Leeds

Fabulous food in Leeds. - This was a walking tour around Leeds City Centre, the Tour Guide (Lynda) was very pleasant and knowledgeable, she soon got to know everyone and made us all very welcome. We had Mexican/Japanese/Italian/Indian/ and finished off with a fabulous Ice-Cream. In amongst this we went to a superb Bakery and a Chilli shop, both of which were excellent. We managed to have good weather for February. When we had finished we could tell we had been fed, even though the tour lasted for 4 hours. Thoroughly recommend it, and we come to Leeds quite a lot.

Sampling The Diverse Foods of Leeds - A real variety of cuisines were sampled with lots of interesting information about each place visited and the food offered. Also enjoyed the facts about the history and culture of Leeds. Difficult to choose a favourite food offering but the stand out experience was The Chilli Shop. I'm not keen on chilli but with the expert tuition and guidance of Frank I tasted some amazing new flavours! He was also very entertaining! The Italian restaurant offered us lovely amanche and the ice cream at the end of the tour was perfect. But my unexpected favourite was the Tunisian sandwich which was fresh and gently spicy. The cost was very fair considering 7 venues were visited and the portions generous. Quite a lot of walking in between destinations which I didn't mind as it helped digestion! But might be hard for some. The experience lasted about 4 hours which seemed about right.
