An Amazing Experience! - Out of all the (over three hundred) tour companies to select from to tour Yellowstone, we struck gold with woman-owned Sky’s The Limit. Do you need a guide? Maybe not, but this was our first visit to the park, and we did not want to waste valuable time. We also wished to take advantage of expert insider knowledge. We were not disappointed! We loved our guide, Ben, who was on his final preseason check ride with owner, Lisa, so we were doubly blessed (not typical to have two guides, FYI). We saw much wildlife, which made the 6 AM wakeup call worth it – bison, elk, coyote, grizzly (through a scope, but still a bear!), birds, and a juvenile eagle over Yellowstone Lake diving for his lunch. Our own lunch was filling and delicious, plus we had all the water and snacks we needed to keep going in our busy day. We never stopped learning and we were happily exhausted when the tour was over. Highlights: Experiencing bison crossing the road all around us (yes, in the van) and seeing several bison calves (aka “red dogs” for their reddish coats). Simultaneously seeing a lone coyote run alongside the road. Also seeing a herd of elk keeping an eye on the bison. Viewing the stunning Yellowstone Waterfall and canyon from the overlook. Hiking to another overlook of the indescribable Grand Prismatic – so beautiful! Visiting the interior of the historic Old Faithful Inn, and of course, the Old Faithful geyser itself. Lisa knew where to go away from the crowds – her insider knowledge was so valuable. It was a fun, busy, yet relaxing tour, and we covered a lot of ground and key sights of the Lower Loop. Lisa and Ben were amazing and even gave us tips for a second day on our own. Our timing was perfect (May) before the rush of the summer crowds beginning in June. We highly recommend contacting Sky’s The Limit Tours…you won’t be disappointed anytime you decide to tour Yellowstone.

Yellowstone - Lisa was fantastic. She called us in advance and was very accommodating about our pick up time. Made sure we had the food we wanted and provided plenty of snacks for the trip. She was very thoughtful about where and what we wanted to see. Her knowledge of the park and the wildlife is amazing. She brought us to places that we would never have known about and we saw amazing wildlife including bison, grizzlies, and “red dogs”. Amazing.

Phenomenal Lower Loop Tour! - What a fabulous Yellowstone Lower Loop Tour! This was the second tour we took with Sky's the Limit. We had the great good fortune to have Tin as our guide for the day. Tin's first suggestion was to begin our tour early for the best chance at seeing wildlife. She drove us to the Hayden Valley where we were able to view 4 grizzly bears (one mother + juvenile pair and two individual males)!! This was an amazing start to the day and it just kept getting better. Our next stop was the Mud Volcano. Tin was incredibly informed about how the geothermal features of Yellowstone were formed, how they have changed over the years and “fun” anecdotes about unexpected geothermal events. We next visited West Thumb to explore the geothermal features along the lakeside. Tin shared the extraordinary history of the area, especially in regard to the original exploration and establishment of Yellowstone. We had our delicious catered picnic lunch* at the Old Faithful Inn where we learned the colorful history of the Inn and also met local artists. We were thrilled to watch Old Faithful, but also had the good fortune to see The Grand Geyser erupt first – it was amazing and beautiful! Tin then took us to the Grand Prismatic Hot Spring. We walked along the adjacent river observing the surrounding geothermal features. Within the Grand Prismatic, Tin pointed out bear, moose and other tracks. Throughout the day, Tin captured photos of us at all of the hotspots – and even a few unexpected candids. She kept us engaged as we moved between sites, answering our questions and continually pointing out interesting areas for us to explore later on our own. We finished the day feeling that we had seen and learned more than we ever expected to. We are looking forward to a future visit to see and learn more with Sky’s the Limit! *The catered lunch was delicious! Our sandwiches were high quality, tasty and not at all soggy! The caterer was also able to easily accommodate my dietary needs.

You Must Book a Tour Here! - If you plan to visit Yellowstone National Park, you simply must book a tour with Sky's the Limit. Tin Bindi, the owner of the company, was our tour guide, and her attention to detail made our daylong excursion an experience my wife and I will long remember fondly. Tin picked us up at our lodge (the Golden Stone Inn, also highly recommended) early in the morning. From then on we were in good hands. She made sure everyone felt included, offering plenty of gluten-free, dairy-free, and other dietary-friendly options for lunch and healthful snacks. Drinks and snacks were always on hand, which made the day feel extra comfortable. Bathroom stops were well-timed and frequent, which might sound like a small detail, but it makes a big difference when you're out exploring all day. When you hear the call of nature, Tin will make sure the call is answered promptly. Of course, the highlights were the gorgeous scenery and all of the wildlife we saw, including plenty of bison (note: don't call them buffalo, as Tin will explain), elk, a coyote, and a black bear. And some beautiful birds. Tin explained the geology and ecology of the park in a way that was easy to understand. The day was a perfect blend of adventure and education. A terrific bonus was all of the outstanding photos and video that Tin took of the park and of my wife and me, all of which she gave us at the end of the day. You won't make a better investment of your time and money than spending a day with Sky's the Limit Tours!

Great Lower Loop private tour with Tin - The owner, Tin, was fantastic. She has an incredible knowledge base of the park’s wildlife and geology. She knew where/when to go to certain areas, provided nice binoculars and had a scope she would set up for us to observe bison and elk. She tailored our tour to the areas we were interested in seeing. She was a happy, bubbly fountain of information. Would highly recommend this tour if you are interested in seeing and learning about Yellowstone.

Perfect day in Yellowstone - We had a fabulous tour of the Yellowstone lower loop with an incredible tour guide Mike. He picked us up at the designated location and took us on a whirlwind trip! The advantage of a private tour is that you can get to all the locations with ease and see so much! Our tour included a delicious lunch which we had at a beautiful, secluded lakeside spot. Just a wonderful day! Highly recommend!

The Best - Tin is the best!!!!!! What an experience to experience Yellowstone with an outdoor and Yellowstone enthusiast, not sure that there is one better! To be able to spend the day learning and being gobsmacked every other minute was amazing and to have Tin as our guide felt like having a really good friend take us out in their stomping ground. She made sure to get us to the places she knew we would enjoy and get as much in in one day. We would do it all over again!! Thanks Tin!!!
