Labuan Bajo - Guests will be picked up from their hotel at 7:30 AM in Labuan Bajo and driven to Dintor, a journey of approximately 3.5 hours. Upon arrival in Dintor, they will be directly transferred to a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch, the journey continues to Denge. Upon reaching Denge, guests will embark on a trek of about 3.5 hours to Wae Rebo Village, ascending through the rainforest to reach Wae Lomba, a creek that serves as the first stop after about an hour’s trek from Denge. The forest atmosphere is truly immersive, with the occasional song of the Asian Paradise Flycatcher. The trek continues to Post 2 at Pocoroko, offering stunning views of the Savu Sea to the south. This is the last point with cellular phone service. The next stop is Nampe Bakok, where guests can enjoy a complete view of the traditional village of Waerebo. The afternoon is spent in the village, allowing guests to fully appreciate the local lifestyle and surroundings.
Wae Rebo Village - Situated in Manggarai on the Island of Flores, East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia, Wae Rebo is the only village in the district that retains its complete traditional structure, including the mbaru niang houses—cone-shaped houses with large roofs made of palm leaves and wooden structures. The village also features a drum house symbolizing clan unity, a communal building, and the stone altar compang, believed to house the souls of ancestors. In 2012, UNESCO designated this village as an Asia-Pacific Cultural Heritage Conservation site. Guests will spend the afternoon exploring the village and understanding the local way of life. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be provided in a traditional house, offering an authentic local experience.
