Great trip to Rangko Cave with snorkeling and sunset walk - Great experience visiting Rangko cave. We did the afternoon tour and the water was beautifully turquoise. The boat is a local boat so be ready for the loud noise of the engine, but we loved the more authentic travel experience. Snorkeling is on your own, which we enjoyed the independence. We only had one other couple on the boat, so it was wonderful.

Full day of great experiences - Seeing daily life in a Bajo fishing village, lovely friendly people . Saw Komodo dragons walking on the outskirts of the village, bats in the cave, snorkelling and coral planting. Our guided were great and booking this trip provides icons for Rinca Islas and the coral restoration project. And the fish at lunch was superb.

Good snorkeling cool cave experience - We went as a couple in the morning and we were picked up at our resort and it was a pleasant drive to the boat. The dock was a bit dodgy but that was part of the adventure- you just need to watch where you step. We took an old school boat to a reef area and had some good snorkeling for 40 minutes. Then onto the cave which is dark in the morning, but we had it to ourselves- bonus. Our guide and boat driver were both lovely. It is not for lux travellers, or small kids, but good value and a fun adventure out.

Nice morning tour without the crowds. - Nice tour, went for the morning. Stopped to do some snorkelling then went into Cave for around 45 mins. This was plenty of time to have a good swim and get some photo's. The morning visit was good as there was only a few people in the cave and so managed to get some pics without others in them.

Keep your promise. - They picked me up on time in a very comfortable car at the hotel and returned me to it. They don't explain much from the start. Then they take you to one of the villages of Rangko where you take a boat in regular conditions, operated by local boys. One of them speaks English. To enter Rangko Cave you walk a path through the forest and you reach the cave, where you can bathe. However, they left me only 20 minutes and not the indicated time. Bathing in the cave pool is very rich. It's a cave of stalactites and stalagmites. Then we took the boat and went snorkeling. It's nice, but the guides don't help, or explain anything. We returned to the village of Rangko and took the good car, which took us to a place of a Lookout. I couldn't go to the highest point because I didn't wear tennis, it's not suitable for sandals. We came back and they took me to the hotel. I tipped the boat boy, but the car boy didn't. I suggest wearing tennis and sandals, plus the bathing dress and towel. It would be good if the guides were more trained and could give information about the cave and its geological formation and the variety of corals and fish in the area. I suggest wearing tennis and sandals.

Crowded and dirty - Overcrowded cave, rocky steps covered with dirt, questionable safety of the boat. Do not recommend. Snorkeling was welcomed additional activity. Thank you.

Interesting half day activity - The cave is a nice activity to explore the area, but the time allowed to that part of the tour was too long to my taste. The snorkeling was great with lots of fishes and beautiful coral. The stop on the way back for the sunset was nice, but the guide did not join me for the walk up to the viewpoint or add commentary during the tour. The sunset views from the hill were amazing though.

Rip off. - Avoid. Noisy, smoking boat brought us to a fetid cave - very slippery - not suggested for older folks. Guides offered no help. Then we were brought to a sea lice infested cove to snorkel amongst dead coral.
