KP3 Labuan Bajo - Kelor Island - Manjarite Beach - Kalong Rinca
KP3 Harbor - The team will meet the guests at their designated pick-up location. The hotel lobby is a convenient meeting spot, where the team will have a sign with the guest’s name or will contact them via mobile phone. After meeting, the team will escort the guests to the harbor and explain the group division for boarding a small boat and the pinisi ship. Upon reaching the pinisi ship, guests will gather on the deck for a briefing on voyage rules and room assignments. Ensure the room matches the reservation. This room will be used until the trip concludes. Store belongings neatly and securely in the room. The team is responsible for personal belongings only while all passengers are on board. Once guests leave the ship, lost items are no longer the team’s responsibility.
Kelor Island - The first destination is Kelor Island, a small uninhabited island with a hill approximately 100 meters high. Guests will be taken to Kelor Island by motorboat. The surrounding scenery is stunning from the hilltop, with a blend of blue sky, the brownish hue of Flores Island, and the beautiful sea color gradation, perfect for photos. Guests can also swim or enjoy a coconut here.
Manjarite Beach - After exploring Kelor Island, the next stop is Manjarite. Lunch will be served on the boat, allowing guests to enjoy the sea breeze while dining as the boat moves towards Manjarite. Upon arrival, guests can swim or snorkel and admire the underwater beauty. The marine life is abundant, with various coral reefs thriving here. Clear sea water, coral reefs, and thousands of colorful fish create an amazing start to the exploration journey in Komodo National Park.
Kalong (Flying Foxes) Island - The final destination for the first day is the Rinca bats. As the name suggests, guests will witness an incredible view at dusk as the sun sets, with thousands of large bats flying above the ship, moving from one island to another in search of food. This unique sight is likely a first-time experience for many, viewed up close. This moment concludes the day’s adventure before the ship finds a sheltered spot to anchor and rest. Dinner will be served shortly after sunset.
Padar Island - Pink Beach - Komodo Island - Manta Point - Taka Makasar
Padar Island - After a restful night on the boat, guests will be awakened in the morning and invited to climb to the top of Padar. The path to the top is quite accessible, with stone stairs to follow step by step. At the summit, guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the vast ocean with the morning sky as a backdrop. The fresh air is invigorating, and the different beach colors on the three sides of Padar Island make for a stunning photo background. This magnificent view opens the day’s journey. After enjoying Padar Island’s natural beauty, breakfast will be prepared on the boat, with coffee and snacks providing a delightful start to the day.
Pink Beach - The next stop is Long Beach, also known as Labuan Bajo Pink Beach. As the name suggests, it is the longest beach in Labuan Bajo, with unique sand that appears pink from a distance. This color comes from red coral fragments eroded by waves into red sand grains. At Pink Beach, guests can swim with fish, snorkel, or simply play in the sand. Enjoying a young coconut here is a refreshing treat.
Komodo Island - The following destination is Komodo Island, the original habitat of ancient creatures still living today. Komodo dragons are large lizards, reaching lengths of 4 meters or more. Upon arrival, guests will meet rangers who will guide them to observe Komodo dragons in the wild. It’s important to follow the ranger’s instructions and stay with the group. Maintain a safe distance when taking photos and walking around the Komodo dragons. After exploring Komodo Island, guests will return to the Pinisi ship and proceed to Manta Point.
Manta Point - Manta Point is a gathering spot for manta rays. The boat will stop near the manta rays, and guests will be invited to swim and approach them. The guide will capture videos and photos using an underwater camera. With luck, guests can be photographed with several manta rays. The sea water is exceptionally clear and refreshing, offering a clear view of the manta rays and other fish swimming nearby. This is a remarkable experience while exploring Komodo National Park.
Taka Makassar Island - After swimming with manta rays, the final destination of the day is Taka Makasar. Taka Makasar is an island eroded by waves, leaving only a mound of white sand. Activities here include swimming, playing in the sand, enjoying the sunset, and snorkeling. The coral reefs are exceptional, but extra energy is needed due to the strong afternoon currents. After enjoying Taka Makasar’s natural beauty, guests will board the Pinisi ship for a sunset party.
Siaba Island - Labuan Bajo
Siaba Besar Island - The trip’s final destination is Siaba Island, an uninhabited island in Komodo National Park with a pier and wooden bridge. The ship will dock near the island in the morning, allowing guests to enjoy the sea view and beach atmosphere. Swimming with thousands of colorful fish is an extraordinary morning activity. The clear, fresh sea water offers a chance to play and witness the natural wealth of the Komodo Islands. Afterward, guests can enjoy morning snacks and breakfast on the ship as it heads towards Labuan Bajo. The ship will arrive at the pier around 11:00 AM, allowing guests to head directly to the airport for a 1:00 PM or afternoon flight, or to a hotel if they plan to stay in Labuan Bajo.
