A lot a lot of beautiful views - My friend and I had an amazing time on the Lombok loop. It is a very unique and beautiful way to experience Lombok. Bello and Opel were amazing drivers and we felt very safe all the time. They were also a lot a lot of fun and definitely made this experience even better. Lombok is beautiful and this is the best way to see it.

Incredible adventure - We stumbled across the Lombok Loop while researching things to do, and it ended up being one of the best activities we did on our trip to Indonesia! Lombok is absolutely stunning and much less touristy than Bali, which was a nice escape after the hustle and bustle of Bali. Our entire trip was full of insane views, kind people, and great vibes. The drivers all did an incredible job of making us feel safe while showing us their beautiful island and having so much fun. All of the drivers were local Lombok boys (Lomboyz if you will), and they took great pride in teaching us about their culture and the island. We were never on the bikes for too long without getting the opportunity to stretch our legs. Every single day felt like a new adventure - we saw jungle waterfalls, rice fields, mountain villages, empty beaches and at times it felt like we had the whole island to ourselves. We spent one night camping at the base of Mt. Rinjani, and the sunrise views were truly breathtaking. If you're into nature, motorbikes, and getting off the beaten path, I highly recommend the Lombok Loop!

Amazing experience - Highly Recommend! - Vibes: Immaculate. Food: Delicious. Overall: Fantastic. I went on this tour with two of my friends and we all agreed that it was one of the best weeks of our lives. We’ve been traveling around Southeast Asia for a few months - we’ve seen and done some amazing things. We’ve even done the Ha Giang Loop, and while that was incredible, this tour offered a more authentic, intimate experience. The stops were less regimented, but that allowed us to truly relax and get the most out of each place. We felt extremely taken care of (plenty of snacks and water). We also felt extremely safe, which is huge for 3 women traveling around a new place. We want to give a special shoutout to Gun, Adi, and Surya who made this such a special experience and gave us a lot of laughs. We could not recommend this tour more!

True review - I’m gonna write a true review because the majority of the others are writen by the owner, even if you come from the blog, be careful it’s written by the owner too, that’s why everything is positive. The loop is good, guide are nice and they drive safe. A big thanks to theim. However, if you already did the Ha Giang loop, it’s not really the same organisation even if they compare themselves to them. The guide had nowhere to sleep, they are sleeping in the mosquee and they have only a small budget for lunch and dinner. For me, it’s a big red flag and the owner have to work on this, they deserve comfort. Don't forget that they leave their family for several days to bring this loop to life. They never complain, we just noticed it ourselves. For the safety equipment : they just give us a helmet, without a visor while we pass by road with a lot of dust during all the loop. For the meal, « all is include » mean for them : you have 50K for a meal and if you take something more expansive you should pay the difference but if you take something cheaper you can’t add something like a coke. Also, the third lunch was not very good. The « snacks include » is fake, the only snack we got was fried banana on the first day. For all the others snacks, we have to pay. « Water include » : we need to buy some water by ourself because on a day, we juste have like 1 small bottle for 2 persons and 1 big bottle to share for 4… The activities were good, you see the local life and nice landscape, except the last day which is not useful, the hostel is only at 30min of the drop off point, you start at 9am, stay 2 hours on a beach and finish. I was with my boyfriend, so we share the room but they don’t make discount for this, we have payed the same price than someone who came alone and have his own room while it coast less for the owner. Finally, accommodation and food could be really better compared to the price we payed the loop (4,2 Millions IDR !). The two owner just keep for them all the money we don’t spend (for the food for example if you don’t spend 50K). Another big thank you to our guides who know their island perfectly and who are dedicated.

Not worth the price - The Lombok loop is a good idea to discover the island and I have to say that my driver Faris was great. But my experience with this is that I was completed overcharged and that the agency is dishonest. I asked to book a private tour as I was travelling solo and could not join the group session on Thursday. They said that they offered private tour for two (similar price as group price). For being alone they charged me over 2,000,000 more saying that there are some things that can’t be done for a 1 person trip otherwise they would go over budget. After doing the loop I can assure you that there is nothing explaining this much overcharge for a solo traveler. SO I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR SOLO TRAVELLERS as it is a complete rip off. To be honest I think that even the normal price is high given the quality of accommodation / even food sometimes on this trip. A little competition would do them good… Anyway, the roads are really good around Lombok so, if you know how to drive a scooter you can easily (and should) plan this on your own.

It's not worth your money - Don't book here!!!! It's not worth the money. What you get is totally disproportionate to what you pay. Poor accommodations and mediocre food. They compare themselves to the ha giang loop, but don't fall for it. We were in high season the only 2 of the group. This was not reported in advance and we only found out on arrival. The staff are treated badly and paid poorly. If your money goes to the big boss who doesn't care about the tour itself.
