The temple comprises three main buildings: Gaduh, Kemaliq, and Pesiraman. Gaduh is sacred to Hindus, featuring four junctions symbolizing gods residing in two mountains. The eastern junction honors the god of Mount Rinjani, while the western one honors the god of Mount Agung. Between these junctions are two united pesinggahan, symbolizing the connection between the two mountains.
