The hardwood collection features Spanish cedar, teak, Cordia, and Carreto. Among the native species are Hog Plum, Gumbo-limbo (the naked Indian/tourist tree), Trumpet tree, Teta, and Masica. The palm variety includes Royal, Fishtail, Areca, Phoenix, Pindo, Fan Date, Chamaedorea, Veitchia, and the impressive Norfolk pine that dominates the gardens.
