This was our first... - This was our first non-cruiseline excursion. We had concerns about meeting without a larger group and making sure we arrived back timely to board the ship. These were both easily handled. The instructions were easy and clear to meet our tour guide for the day Carlos! He was exceptional and kept us informed throughout our day. We arrived timely and within an hour were ready to hop on our boat and begin snorkeling. The reef is magical and is my wife's happy place. I can't say enough to be able to enter their environment and swim alongside the fish and other wildlife. After it was completed we got plenty of beach time and a very calm and enjoyable beach area. We wanted a little more of the "local" Honduras experience and Carlos was happy to make a stop for a mountainside lunch at a local restaurant. The views were breathtaking to see the sea, port and our cruise ship from the vantagepoint. Carlos kept us informed and made it back to the port easily ahead of our boarding time.

Renie was a perfect guide - Our tour with Renie with Roatán Tucan Adventures was great. We booked the snorkeling and beach day but since it was raining a bit he pivoted and gave us a city tour as well. We got to see a lot of the island. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great excursion day. The snoring turned out to be great, the reef is beautiful.

Beautiful and Smooth day! Tons of fish. - Diana was friendly, knowledgeable and provided excellent care and customer service. She watched out dor us and facilitated a very smooth experience. The reef and snorkeling were breathtaking. Have reserved lounge chairs was a bonus.

Personal guide and beautiful island - Our guide stayed with us for the duration of the trip. We didn’t have to wonder where to go or wait/look for him to get a ride back. He never left us, and even took us on a small detour. He was kind and professional and the island was lovely (minus the horrible island-wide trash issue).
Everyone we met was friendly and accommodating without being pushy.
If you haven’t already booked you’re swarmed at the port exit with people selling tours which is a bit scary but we told one of them we had a tour booked, they asked with who and then immediately went and found him for us. Once we had located Fred everything was easy and relaxed. I am pleased with our trip.

Fun despite downpour! - Danny was our guide and he was great! The weather was bad so we improvised and did a custom tour. He was always easy to find when we finished our activities. He also gave us a lot of interesting info about the island. Thanks again Danny!

Dangerous snorkeling experience - The tour guide was amazing. The beach club was very average. The beach chairs were old and some falling apart. The snorkeling adventure was terrible, if not, downright dangerous. The guys that drove the boat looked like they were teens. After we got on our way, we realized they didn’t speak English. They gave us orange standard life jacket and told us to wear it around our waist. Got a snorkel and mask, no flippers! No guide- were on our own with fairly strong current. It was very hard to stay together with our family. When we got back in boat, we found out that the motor quit working. Another boat was tied to ours like they were going to pull us back in. We waited for probably 10 people get back in that boat, remove their equipment, get rinsed off by the guide. After that, they dropped the rope and took off. Then a catamaran pulled us close and gave the boys a tool so they could try to fix it, without success, of course. Luckily another passenger spoke Spanish so we were able to get bits and pieces of what was going on. Finally, another boat came out and we had to climb in the other boat, which again was dangerous for some passengers. The boat brought us back to shore but it was way farther away from where we started so we had to walk back- they did send someone to escort us. Unfortunately, it was a very poor experience and very dangerous. I really expected more from your company. Our experience in Belize the day before was so much better!
