Great Food tour - We spent three hours with Jon who is an excellent foodie and knows all the hidden gems in Wellington. He is also a great story teller and a very friendly guy. We had best meat pies and whitebait, great oysters, pavlova, chocolate and more One of the best things to do in NZ

Beyond the Tourist Trail: Wellington’s Culinary Treasures - I had an absolutely wonderful day exploring Wellington’s vibrant food scene on this tour! Jon’s deep knowledge of local cuisine, paired with his cultural and historical insights, made the experience both delicious and enriching. It was the perfect introduction to my new hometown. I’ve already enjoyed sharing my discoveries and indulging in Wellington’s fabulous eateries with visiting friends. This tour takes you beyond the usual tourist paths, uncovering hidden gems tucked away in back lanes and side alleys. I now have a long list of places I can’t wait to revisit. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience Wellington in a truly authentic way. Thank you, Jon!

Real food in Wellington. - Jon was an excellent guide, informative and personable. All the food was excellent. Definitely more than just the taste we have gotten on other food tours, so I would recommend skipping breakfast. Gave us a good orientation to Wellington as this was our first time to visit. Highly recommend.

Great food tour - Our guide was Stella who did a great job. She was fun and engaging and kept our group of eight moving. The food was plenty, varied and tasty, particularly the first two stops. We enjoyed the company of the other guests and learning more about Wellington

Great food, lots of walking - Food was excellent. Stella and the group were cohesive, friendly and on time. The food was quite an array of different types of foods. Home made Kambucha, pies, ice cream, lamb rolls, vegetarian options were available Stella knows the town and all the people. She was great but a lot of walking

Lots of food and city information - Outstanding four hour tour of Wellington. Stella was a fount of information about the city and its people. Nicely paced with plenty of tasty food. Stopped at a minimum of six places (lost count). Everything was delicious. One of the best tours we have experienced.

Not worth the money! - We were completely disappointed in the food on the tour for how expensive it was! We tried a cheese biscuit, a toasty with cream cheese and onion (which she referred to has hangover food for a college student, a miniature meat pie, chocolate with strawberries from a chocolate factory and ice cream. The drinks we had were coffee and some L&P soda. Our tour guide was nice but she focused on telling us about herself. We have been on a lot better food tours in other countries! Would not recommend this one!
