• Wellington - After picking up our guests, we head out of the city to the Hutt Valley. Upper Hutt, a part of the Hutt Valley, is often likened to the “Detroit” of Wellington!
• NZCIS Conference Centre - Drive by the newest and most advanced sports facilities. Open for less than a year, it’s home to our professional rugby and football teams. When the mighty All Blacks are in town, this is where they stay!
• Trentham - We pass by the Trentham Military Camp and discuss a bit about its history.
• Upper Hutt - Learn a bit about the history of Rimutaka Prison. Apologies in advance, we can’t drop off any husbands or wives there!
• Cars Inc Museum & Cafe - Exclusive to Ka Rawe tours, we’ll head out of town to explore some of the finest motorcars and automotive history at Cars Inc in Upper Hutt. We’ll also get to sample some of New Zealand’s finest beverages. What a fantastic experience!
• Jackson Street Programme - Take a leisurely stroll down Jackson Street in Petone and enjoy some shopping. There’s something for everyone, including chocolate, beer, and fashion!
• Petone - At the end of Jackson Street, we arrive at the local venue Gear Street Union to quench our thirst. Choose from three drinks: local craft beers, local gin, local wine, or non-alcoholic options for those under 18. Food is also available.
• Wellington - Now we head back into the city where you can be dropped off at Te Papa, the cable car, or your hotel.

This tour offers something for everyone, with the main attraction being a visit to a local car museum. Access to Cars Inc is exclusively available through Ka Rawe Tours.

The tour begins with a short drive out of the city towards the Hutt Valley. Along the way, the guide will share fascinating insights and information about the beautiful region.

Several points of interest are explored en route, and soon, the group arrives at Cars Inc. From Hummers to pedal cars to American Muscle, there is an impressive variety of vehicles to admire. Be sure to read the storyboards accompanying each vehicle.

Next, the tour heads to the Entertainment precinct Brewtown, where participants can enjoy a sampling paddle of New Zealand’s finest brews from Te Aro brewery. Did you know that Wellington consumes about 40% of the craft beer produced in New Zealand? It’s no wonder, as the region boasts the best craft beer in the country!

Finally, the tour takes a brief journey back to the city, with drop-offs at designated stops.
