The operator will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning. Afterward, you will drive to Udawalawe and take a safari Jeep (payment for the safari Jeep can be made at the end of the tour) to the entrance of Udawalawe National Park (tickets can be purchased at the entrance). At the National Park, you will enjoy tea and snacks.

Entering the park in the early morning allows you to avoid the crowds and observe animals when they are most active. Udawalawe National Park is renowned for its large population of Asian elephants, with herds sometimes numbering up to 100.

Take a tour of Udawalawe National Park, one of Sri Lanka’s largest animal sanctuaries. You will have ample time to listen to commentary about the wildlife and ask questions. Spend three hours exploring Udawalawe’s diverse wildlife, including elephants, crocodiles, birds, and various species of exotic plants. After the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel.
