Harrison’s Cave tour - Harrison’s Cave Tour & Rum Tasting – 10/10! This excursion was amazing! Gabriel and his crew were fantastic, super engaging and kept everyone entertained. The cave itself is absolutely breathtaking, you’ll be speechless! 📸 The crew even takes pictures of you, which is a nice bonus. Lunch was delicious, and the tour is perfect for all age groups. So much is included in the package—totally worth it. The rum tasting was fun and informative 🍹, though the room could’ve used better AC. Overall, a must-do experience in Barbados!

Well organised, fun and informative day - We had a fantastic experience with Chukka. The pick up was running late but we were able to call the office and they informed us we had not been forgotten about! The bus is branded with Chukka's logo so you can't miss it. Once we got to Harrisons Cave we were taken down by Sean and Sandra who were fantastic. Sandra was so passionate about the cave which made me and my friend passionate! I think the tram tour was the perfect length of time with opportunities to jump off for further exploration and photo opportunities. We had a delicious lunch by the swimming pool (bring a cossie if you want to the a dip!) which was a huge veggie wrap and chips. I had to take half my wrap home. This meal was vegetarian but not vegan (there was mayo but im sure you could ask for it without) We then did our rum tasting with Kyle who was knowledgeable and entertaining. The whole day was enjoyable and we were informed of timings every step of the way.

Harrisons Cave - Gabriel, our tour guide and Carl, our driver were fantastic! The knowledge of the Cave and the sights were spectacular. The history of the cave and the formations were interesting. Gabriel was humourous and very engaging with guests. We had plenty of time for photos and were not rushed through the sights. Awesome tour. Rum tasting: Our guide was super knowledgeable regarding the different rums and how to taste. We learned correct ways to sample rums and the differences. Mount Gay has been the best tasting Caribbean rum we have had to date. Of all the Caribbean Islands we visited, Barbados is the last...saved the best ultil last! Our lunch at the Cave was awesome. Chicken Wrap & Salad. We truly had not expected much, but we so surprised with our meal. The jerk chicken was so yummy and the salad had a citrusy dressing that was phenomenal. GREAT DAY!!!

interesting but expensive - needs more of a experience factor to justify cost - We attended this tour towards the end of our stay, so had different experiences to compare it with. The actual tour of the caves was interesting and the rum tasting was excellent and the staff leading it were informative. However, we don't feel like it was worth the money that we paid for the tour and the experience felt that that there was lots of waiting around. We were collected from our hotel at 9 am and were in the venue for most of the today but the experiences only lasted around an hour each. We felt that the transportation to the caves lacked information from the driver, other tours the drivers interacted with the guests and gave us information as we drive through the areas, there was none of this. When we arrived we were asked to wait in the shop and information centre for our cave tour ( this was for about 45 mins). It would have been nice if, on other tour to have been welcomed with a drink, maybe explained how the experience would work as there was not much to see there. The nature trail was not explained until the end of the day when we had 30 mins before collection. After the caves we had about an hour for lunch, this considering the cost was a basic wrap not what we were expecting considering the cost of the tour. We then had to wait around for another 45 mins for our rum tasting to start.

It’s a shame it is disorganized - The transfer was efficient but the experience once you reach Harrison’s cave was completely disorganized and took away from the entire experience. What is the point of pre poking anything when there are 30 min waits for prebooked tickets and 40+ min waits to meet tour guides (they were late). The tour also started late because there was confusion as to who was supposed to be on the tram. There were 10, 11, and 11:40 groups standing waiting to know where we were going. We had no one take us to different parts of the experience (tram, lunch, rum tasting). I had to ask where I was supposed to find lunch. I finally am told where to go only to find out that the preordered lunch is not ready… we waited like 45 min… it was like they didn’t know what we ordered ahead of time to have it ready for us. They promised a cookie and the cookie is in another location but they would bring it to my rum tasting which I was already 20 minutes late for waiting on my preordered lunch— they never brought the cookie.. I went back to the kitchen for my cookie and was missing out on my complimentary rum punch. Then when I go to collect the rum punch the bartender leaves the bar for at least 10+ minutes and I have to ask another employee about it. He then just went behind the bar and poured the drink. Beautiful caves, transportation, and nice rum tasting but everything else made this a bad experience. I wouldn’t recommend paying so much for confusion. I am a scientist who is very appreciative of these natural wonders but never again. I also heard at least two other people have similar experiences.

Not Pleased - What should've been a group guided tour, turned out to be a self guided tour and the shuttle driver didn't even tell us when to meet to get back to the resort. The cave was ok, nothing special and everything is on site. Alot of money for a semi chaotic excursion. Not too pleased.
