Great cooking class - Very nice evening, clear instruction and made to feel welcome. No rush and dish selection was good. Good info on ingredients and recipes for future use.

Fun, educational and tasty - It was a very nice afternoon and evening, we were picked up by a taxi and then taken to a market where we met New, our cookery teacher. We got some basic information about the products at the market (this Thai-garlic and this is Thai-ginger...) Then we drove to the cooking school where we cooked and ate 4 dishes together under the inspiring leadership of New. New did great and speaks very good English. After everything was eaten, the taxi brought us home, tired but satisfied. We were also sent a recipe book by mail. Highly recommended, Femke and Rob

Bloody awesome. - Great service,friendly driver,picked up on time ,lovely Tuck Tuck drive to food and veg market. Met host New ,so friendly ,excellent knowledge on herbs and spices at market then onwards to cooking class. Class was air-conditioned, well spaced out with a homely welcoming feeling,New the host english was perfect and she was a great teacher and honestly a lovely person,cooked four amazing dishes thanks to New and got to pack up and take home what we didn't finish. Loved the experience so .much that iv booked a half day morning class this week also. Thanks New Your were great.

Brilliant experience in the evening cooking class! - We booked this not really knowing what to expect and we were very pleasantly surprised! Our teacher New was so welcoming and friendly, she provided a very informative class. We were brought to the market before hand and shown where our ingredients were bought, she provided alternatives for the ingredients if we are unable to get them back home in Ireland. We made 4 meals, after our first 2 we sat to eat and then moved onto the next with no rush and a clean area to eat. We had a small class and it felt very personal as she knew our names and it was a very friendly experience. We laughed and enjoyed throughout the entirety of the class and we could not recommend enough. Good value for money as all the ingredients were fresh and we got 4 meals out of it. It was just the right amount of time as the heat in Thailand and cooking are hard to maintain. New our teacher emailed the recipes to us after the class, we will be bringing these recipes home to our families in Ireland to enjoy ! Could not recommend enough.

Recommend Galangal for your Thai taste buds - New was very courteous and pleasant. She was professional and took keen interest in all participants, ensuring that we were learning Thai cuisine. She took time to explain the process and ingredients too. She even gave us containers to bring back food we could not finish eating! Highly recommend Galangal Cooking studio!

Enjoyed very much - It was a great experience! I really enjoyed the time and food. I will definitely recommend this class 😄 Was fun . The most important thing is that I never thought Thai food was easy to cook if you understand how.

Thai cooking class con New - It was very interesting the tour to the market where New, our guide, showed us the various staples of Thai cuisine. After that we went to his cooking class which was very well organized. New explained the preparation of 4 different dishes and accompanied us in the preparation of them. We could decide the degree of spiciness of the various dishes (which helps the Italian palate). He also advised us on how to replace local products with food available in Italy. Another important thing is that New speaks very good English. I highly recommend this activity.

Great Thai cooking class in Chiang Mai - New and everyone on staff are great, this was a wonderful experience, and we learned to cook yummy food. I highly recommend.
