So George split me and my wife up so we couldn’t sit by each other. She got stuck in the back corner with one little window to look out. She’s only 5’2”. She missed half the sites from the van. The walking around tours were awesome.as the trip went along his accent seemed to get stronger and we couldn’t understand a lot. The big kicker was at the end of the tour he dropped us off at train stop he said had the red line which is what we needed to get back to Bethesda and drove away. This was our first day in DC and first day using public transportation. So we get into the station and can’t find a red line. I asked a person working on an escalator and he said there is no red train at this station. He suggested we walk to the next station Farragut North. By this time it’s almost 11:00 PM and we are walking on empty streets except for the homeless yelling out nonsense. Very scary and my wife was terrified for the 7 or 8 blocks. I texted George and he apologized and said I learned from my mistake. Yes he did at our expense. Not happy about this at all.
