Georgetown deeper dive into history - Katy is very knowledgeable and puts her academic history background to good use. We are locals looking to deepen our appreciation for DC. The tour was fun and connected us to the rich history of Georgetown. Put on your walking shoes and go for it.

Best tour ever! - Katie Kirkpatrick is a superb tour guide. She provides well-researched information, addresses in detail the physical presence in Georgetown of the subjects she covers -such as the houses they lived at, shows pictures of them and sets the time and historical events of the period in which they lived. Katie is very knowledgeable, personable, welcoming, and inclusive. She also dresses according to the historical period she is covering, and the subject of her tour. She makes the tour to be not only informative, but also very enjoyable. She is the best tour guide we have had in our many travels.

Extremely knowledgeable - Katie was an incredible source of knowledge about the area. I really enjoyed her passion for the importance of women in history during this era. Her passion was contagious as I have ordered Katherine Graham’s auto biography and am very excited to read it.

Recommended Walking Tour of Georgetown - My friend and I really enjoyed Katie's tour. She shared many inside stories regarding powerful DC ladies and the men in their lives. It was great to walk around Georgetown on a pleasant Fall afternoon and see the homes where they lived, including those of JFK and Jackie. Katie has a fun way of sharing history -- we learned a lot and loved her tour.

A must do - Can recommend this walk. Katie knows what she is taking about and as an European, I learned a lot about the brave women and the achievement they were not thanked for performing. You will leave more knowledgeable than when you started the walk. And…. Katie is funny, interesting and just good company.
