A very emotionally difficult must see - A very emotional experience. A must do. The tour was very well organized considering many moving parts. Van from hotel to train station, train to Krakow, and then bus to Auschwitz. The tour itself is both emotionally and physically exhausting. Lots of walking. You know what you are going to see, but until you’ve truly seen it and been there, you really don’t know. I’m 60 years old and to realize that these atrocities happened merely 20 years before I was born really shook me. This isn’t ancient history and we must never forget. And even keeping these horrors to view hasn’t prevented these from happening elsewhere though not on this scale of course. You must go there. It will change you.

Long train rides and van rides, but good experience. - All pickups were on time and efficient. Not enough time to spend in Krakow Old Town because the drive to/from Auschwitz is more than 90 minutes each way. Our train each way was delayed, nearly 2 hours on return, so a very long day. This is not within Viator’s control, but tiring. Otherwise, good experience.

Excellent Service from start to finish - A very well organised trip. From the early morning door pick up to making sure we boarded the correct train. Then we met the drivers that took us to our destination. Their were no wait in any ques for our group and the made sure we were prioritised. Then our actual guide was brilliant and informative. Then back to the van where we dropped off and on our arrival to Warsaw after a long day we picked up Kris and dropped off at our accommodation. The communication was very thorough. I would thoroughly recommend going through AB Everest.

Our guide, Jacek, was... - Our guide, Jacek, was very knowledgeable on European history and geography and did a great job of explaining the history and geography of the museum we were about to visit. His English was exceptional for someone born and raised in Poland. Jacek was courteous and asked our opinion on how often and where to stop for nature breaks and food. I also enjoyed our 'off topic' conversations as Jacek had an interesting career prior to becoming a guide. I highly recommend Jacek as a tour guide.

A little frustrating - We did not know that we would have 3 hours in Krakow. We would have made plans for something to do. Getting back on the train by ourselves could have been smoother, we could have been given more information. The tour to Auschwitz was good.

Great minus the Auschwitz guide. - From the beginning everything great the driver who picked us up at the apartment and took us to the train was wonderful, the bad thing was the Auschwitz guide, it was nasty, boring and seemed to be in a hurry. The driver who took us and picked us up at Auschwitz was lovely.
