• Golden Waterfall - Located near the Gold Ecological Park (黃金博物園區) in Jinguashi, the Golden Waterfall is known for its stunning gold-colored water. This unique hue is due to the combination of frequent rainfall in the mining area and the presence of heavy metal elements in the riverbed.
• Chiufen (Jiufen Old Street) - Jiufen (九份) offers an unparalleled old town ambiance with a seaside touch, making it a must-visit in northern Taiwan. The area is always bustling with tourists, notably many Japanese visitors eager to see the setting of Hayao Miyazaki’s Academy Award-winning “Spirited Away,” especially the famous red lanterns. Jiufen is also a significant location for Taiwanese cinema enthusiasts, particularly fans of Hou Hsiao-hsien’s “A City of Sadness” (悲情城市), which used Jiufen as the backdrop for the 228 Incident. With Hou’s recent Best Director award at the 2015 International Cannes Film Festival for “The Assassin,” even more visitors are expected in the future.

Embark on a full-day excursion to explore the stunning attractions of the Northeast Coast, including Yehliu Geopark, Golden Waterfall, Jiufen Old Street, Shifen Waterfall, and Shifen Old Street. This shared tour is conducted in a small group of no more than 8 participants and features round-trip transportation from your accommodation in Taipei City. Please note that a guided tour is not included. The type of vehicle provided will depend on the number of participants on the day. For groups of up to 4 people, a 5-seater vehicle will be used, while groups of 5 to 8 people will travel in a 9-seater vehicle. Specific vehicle requests cannot be accommodated.
