Review of floating market tour - The drive up to the market is long. But once we got there it was worth it. Alot of these times are just for the experience, more than anything else. I enjoyed the time. Bought a few things from the market. By the time we went to the train market, I think everyone was "marketed" out. But it was cool to see the train pass in the middle of the shops. Would I do it again - probably not. Was it worth doing a first time - ABSOLUTELY! Don't miss it. It is a great way to experience Thai culture.

Long drive to curious places for ‘street markets’ - It’s a 2 hour drive from Bangkok city center. The van was full but not uncomfortable. It was air conditioned (essential!). Our guide was friendly and accommodating. He took care of keeping us together and everywhere we needed to be. However the tour itself was pretty basic. You just go there, ride a boat for 10 min and then see a typical Asian street market. Except it’s on the banks of a canal and then another one along the narrow train tracks. Per person, the price for the tour is about right. If you have a group, you could probably book a taxi for cheaper and get the same experience.

We went on this trip fully aware that it is also listed as a tourist trap. But hey - we are tourists and we liked it ! - Everything worked very well- nice guide and good driver. Perfect time schedule and time management! Both markeds were very interesting ! A small minus for car with no place to store our backpacks.

Train market / Floating Market trip - The train was very crowded with no seats available. Seemed to be a long ride with nothing to see before arriving in the market area. It was cool to see the most narrow train path through a market in the world but not a wow. The floating market on the other hand was a site to see. Fabulous concept and amazing experience. I would suggest the floating market and skip the train market if possible. L. Feldman USA.

Tour... - Tour guide/driver/process: 1 star; destinations 4.5 stars. Driver pressed the gas pedal repeatedly and incessantly rather than steadily, making us all nauseous. Tour guide English was very very hard to understand. Destinations were good. At the end, they dropped us off at MBK Center, which was not mentioned in the Tour Itinerary, rather than taking us back to our hotel. They told us about 20 minutes before drop off, gave no directions, and we had to pay for the ride back to the hotel. Got going the wrong way on the Metro, so gave up and paid a taxi. Really frustrating after a very long day. Budget friendly, but… doubtful and frustrating at the end.
