- Walvis Bay Waterfront - Walvis Bay, Namibia’s primary seaport, is situated between the Swakop and Kuiseb rivers’ mouths on the Atlantic Ocean. To the south of Walvis Bay lies a remarkable lagoon that draws tens of thousands of birds, including numerous flamingos. The lagoon, salt pans, and bird sanctuary that make up the Walvis Bay Wetlands are among southern Africa’s most significant coastal wetlands. Over 150,000 migratory birds spend the summer months in Walvis Bay, with non-breeding palearctic and intra-African species being predominant. More than 150 bird species have been recorded in this area, including the Greater Flamingo, Lesser Flamingo, Great White Pelican, Chestnut-banded Plover, African Oystercatcher, Cape Teal, and Black-necked Grebe. Additionally, European and northern Siberian migrants, traveling between 10,000 and 14,000 kilometers, visit Walvis Bay annually. These long-distance travelers include the Curlew Sandpiper, Sanderling, Grey Plover, and Ruddy Turnstone.

A really thrilling... - A really thrilling experience which allowed us to enjoy some animal sightings while driving up and down the dunes
Only negative being a rather nasty aroma at the start when passing a very large salt mine

Nice ride. - The scenery is beautiful, the picnic on the dunes simple food my excellent, unfortunately our guide was the leader driver and managed the business it held as well as it could to make our tour pleasant but for us it was disturbing

The guides made the day - Unfortunately management had very poor communication and the tour started over an hour late. After a back and forth with management we got in the 4x4s and the guides went out of their way to make up and lift the mood. The scenery, the drive, all the information they shared were excellent! Our guide stopped wherever we asked so we could take photos. What started as a not so great experience ended in the top outing for our 3 week tour!

The tour was the best I’ve been on so far. - From the pick up to the drop off and everything in between, the team outdid themselves. Vernon picked us up at our hotel and told us his vehicle is our vehicle and we should feel free. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. The salt mines and pink lake was a hit and many beautiful pics were taken. The drive to the dunes was awesome, the views even better. The team prepared a beautiful light lunch for us between the dunes and sea. What a treat! The view at the top of the dunes were spectacular. Zyndall brought us back. He was awesome and gave us his number just in case we needed any help while in Swakopmund. He gave us some safety tips while on holiday and the next day even sent us a thank you message. What a nice guy! Wow guys! Well done on an unforgettable tour. It was well worth the money. Much love from the Coleman family from SA.

Een super excursie - It started with a hustle due to late bookings and shortage of drivers so they swapped our tour and upgraded us to the Sandwich Harbour tour. The experience was awesome. Our driver fabulous and a overall great afternoon. We recommend it to everyone !

Not to be missed and our tour experience exceeded our expectations. Worth every penny! - AMAZING tour! I can’t recommend enough for this tour-100% recommended. Our tour guide/driver: Enrico is top notch driver. The staff was on time to meet us at the cruise terminal. Communication is excellent. Tour provider was giving us updates and meet us where they promised. Our tour experience exceeded our expectations. MNG and Viator are amazing tour providers.

Where the Ocean meets the Desert - This is a fantastic tour of Sandwich Harbor, led by our wonderful driver CJ. He was not only a very safe driver over the dunes, but he is also very knowledgeable of the ecosystem. The beauty of this place is overwhelming, and a picnic on the dunes will be remembered by us for a long time. The company kept in constant contact with us before the tour, which was much appreciated. Highly recommend.

NIce experience - First of all we were told the company would be waiting port side with a board with our name on it. That didn't happen and had to search for the company.
The vehicle uses was not comfortable for the people in the back seats. Very squashed having three people on the back seat for at least three hours drive.
Talking about the dunes. They were great and a lovely experience. However we were in convoy with thirteen other vehicles so the experience was tainted. We were given drinks and food but the volume of people all diving in for drinks and food spoiled the occasion. We saw wildlife which was amazing. The journey to and from the dunes was long a very bumpy so please take note!
