Walking Tour of New Orleans' Garden District
Walk through one of the most architecturally diverse neighborhoods in the United States. Enjoy the shade of the oak and crepe myrtle trees while you see and hear classic stories of antebellum New Orleans.
What You Will Do
- Experience antebellum New Orleans as you walk the streets of the gorgeous Garden District and see homes and other sites that date back to the times when cotton and sugar produced here ran the national economy
- Marvel at elaborate homes and their various architecture styles, including American Cottage, Greek and Italian revival, and federal-style mansions
- Walk past the homes of national celebrities, including Sandra Bullock, John Goodman and Anne Rice's Witching Hour House
- Explore the beautiful Lafayette Cemetery #1 and it's above-ground tombs and crypts
- Guided walking tour

French Quarter sidewalks can be uneven; comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended. New Orleans is prone to sudden thunderstorms, therefore you may want to pack a poncho or small umbrella. Bringing bottled water is also encouraged.
This tour runs rain or shine. No refund for cancelations, but you can reschedule for a later date or comparable tour.
