Crocodile cruise Adelaide river queen - A very authentic and experience seeing crocodiles in their natural habitat. Numerous sightings of crocs and a great display of birds flying around the boat was a bonus! I am hearing impaired so was unable to benefit from the commentary which I assume would have been interesting. Trying to get photos was a bit hit and miss as unfortunately there’s always people who hog the best vantage points making it difficult for those at the back of the crowd to see what’s happening. Nonetheless I enjoyed what I did see and got some great photos of the birds and a couple if good ones of crocs swimming in the river. I thought it was great value for money and easy ly accessible from our caravan park at Virginia.

Jumping crocodiles - A lovely hour or on the river on the Adelaide River Queen where we treated to a great viewing of crocodiles in their natural environment. The skipper gave an informative run down of the crocodiles and their habitat while the crew member enticed the crocodiles to jump out of the water to get a feed.

Original Croc Jumping Tour - We went on the top deck. All good before people started crowding and standing up along both sides. Couldn’t see a thing! We knew the croc was there by the commentary but very disappointed with selfish people. One lady said they were told they could stand there. If everyone stayed seated we all would have been able to enjoyed seeing the crocs. We got so crammed we went downstairs. A lot better!! We got a chance to at least see one croc being fed. This was the 1pm session. If you don’t have kids I’d go on a different croc jumping boat that more than likely less kids might not go on and people unable to walk around. If everyone stayed seated and stood up to take photos & not crowd the side of the boat I think we would have seen more and have a better experience. My suggestion if you have children. Bottom deck and go to the 11am session when the crocs are hungry as you’ll see a lot more.
