Trip to Waiheke - easy trip to Waiheke. Very comfortable with food and drink on board. You can buy your ticket and you dont have to stick to your time. Which was great, as you could make last-minute changes. Takes around 40mins. We got there 20mins before departure and it was fine.

Easy to reserve ticket, quick and comfortable ride, recommend - Used the ferry to go to Waiheke Island for a wineries tour; we took an earlier one than necessary, to explore the closest town a little. If you want a specific ferry time, recommend reserving ticket ahead of time; we did it easily in GetYourGuide. BUT, you must go to the ferry office that sells the tickets, before boarding, to exchange for paper tickets. You also cannot reserve your ferry time on GetYourGuide; we went to the ferry office the day before and exchanged the tickets for paper ones, very easy to do. That way, we booked the time we wanted. If you take the ferry for a tour on the island, the tour guides meet you when; you get off the ferry. If you decide to visit the nearest town, you must guarantee you have enough time to get back to the ferry area to meet the guide; that is their pick up & drop off location. The ferry is a very nice ride. We enjoyed the ride over and the ride back. The restroom was clean. Able to buy snacks and something to drink on the ferry.

Ferry to waiheke and hop on/off bus - Great ferry service from ferry terminal to the island. Hop on/off bus really good - recommend getting off at stop 11. Beach is great (maybe a mile of sand). Word of warning - ferry back to Auckland in afternoon gets busy and if you are on top deck it can be REALLY windy. Most bus stops are to the wineries.

Avoid using Viator for this aervice - Arrived on time to be told Viator mobile tickets not accepted. We were taken to the ticket office to print them. It took ages for them to locate the booking and eventually print tickets. By the time we made it back to the boarding area they'd closed boarding. We had to argue with them to let us on to avoid missing our next tour on the island. Fullers have yet to apologise or provide an explanation, although they've claimed we'd changed the booking and checked-in the previous day, that certainly wasn't us!
