Unforgettable life experience - Great place for hikes in the mountains. Have been able to take a lot of pictures for the socials. Also staying overnight at the dune, had an extensive dinner zarb. Never heard of it, a bbq underground and the food is slow cooked for 2 hours. Super tasty, truly an experience. Didn't get a good picture of the stars but this is a beautiful place to look at the stars. One of the best on earth in my opinion.

Stay in Wadi with Khaled - The desert in Wadi Rum was breathtaking, the sleeping accommodation was super neat and well maintained. Dinner and breakfast was well arranged and anything you might want to explore in the area was possible. Beautiful hikes made and khaled & Muhammed were very friendly guides, they were super guest friendly and could tell a lot about the area. Are you in Jordan? Then you really can't miss this!

Unforgettable camel ride and 2 days hiking, living among the Bedouins - We spent 3 wonderful days in Wadi Rum, dense of breath-taking experiences and relaxing moments enjoying the peace and silence of the desert, all organized by Khaled, the manager, and made possible by multiple people from the staff working for us around the clock. On day one we rode the camel from the village to the camp sightseeing along the way (Al-Ramal red sand dunes, Khazali canyon, little rock bridge). Our guide Faisal was very kind and although his English was basic he could answer all our questions about the camels and local culture. The next 2 days we hiked the "Bedouin trails trek": our guide Youssef lead us through untouched canyons, dunes and rocks across the desert to see the stunning views over the wadis and Jabal Umm ad Dami. Youssef is a kind young man who told us all about the place and Bedouin life in fluent English, as well as playing with us the games of his childhood like rolling stones and sand sliding that made the experience unforgettable. Meals and camping were taken care by Suleiman, who was also very kind and willing to help. Lunch was stewed vegetables and legumes with feta cheese, while dinner was mutabal. Hard boiled eggs for breakfast. Bedouin thyme tea and flatbread were always ready. Suleiman also took care of transportation with his Isuzu pick-up truck. we spent the night under the stars by the fire (they provided sleeping bag, blankets and mattresses). We spent two nights at the camp in the tent, dinner and breakfast were included. Overall the commodities at the camp consist of the basic essential (shared toilets, sinks and showers), while the dining hall is beautiful and you get to eat a buffet mutabal dinner around the fireplace sharing the experience with Khaled and the other guests. This is not a luxurious resort, but a base camp for your adventures in the desert, and the price per night is extremely fair considered that is all inclusive of accommodation, meals and transportations. Don't be fooled by reviews that complain about the weather, broken cars or the kindness of staff: -the desert is a beautiful place that has something to offer in all conditions -the Bedouins know more than you about driving safely across the desert -Khaled is a kind and experienced manager and a true Bedouin from the local tribe who puts his heart into his job and doesn't let anyone disrespectful walk over him

Organisator will look after you and try to make everthing perfect - The tour was organized by Khaled, who accommodated all our wishes. Lunches were cooked in the desert, and dinner was particularly spectacular (our request for vegetarian options was met, and he even checked the soup powder ingredients). Khaled stayed with us as long as we were awake, entertaining us with his stories. We chose the Desert Eyes Explorer package, which included attractions in Wadi Rum on the first day and a hike up a mountain on the Saudi Arabian border on the second day. Everything was amazing!

The magic of walking in the desert - Excellent experience. Wadi Rum is truly spectacular. And it is even more spectacular if you choose an alternative to the classic tours and their multitudes of tourists who only stop in Wadi Rum for a few hours. This is why we chose Desert Eyes, because we wanted to stop the night under an infinite blanket of stars, because we wanted to walk along a path between the immensities of a red sandstone canyon. All this would have been different without Haadii to guide us and joke in front of the fire lit for the tea ritual in the desert or without the voice of Kalhed and his stories that get lost halfway between the bonfire and the shooting stars. To those who are reading this review and have not considered trekking in the desert or who are undecided, we can only say "Do it!", because our only regret was not having spent more time exploring on foot that fantastic world that Wadi Rum. At the end of April the temperature is optimal and the view of the desert still green from the March rains is priceless. When we return, because we definitely want to return, it will be to do a multi-day journey and we will do it with our friends from Desert Eyes.

Hiking in the desert - An absolutely amazing 24 hours in the desert. Khaled is was very responsive prior to our visit and accommodated our transfer from the bus at the visitors centre to the village where the tour began! The hike was fantastic with insane view sand our guide Mohammed was friendly and helpful/ knowledgeable. We had a delicious Bedouin tea and lunch before heading back to the camp to sleep! A perfect experience couldn’t recommend more.

Amazing 3 Days trip in the desert - We did the desert vibration trek with two nights sleeping under the stars in the desert and another two night in the camp. everything was amazing! great food, great hosts, great tour! it was raining one night and our guides organized a covered shelter for us on short notice. on the last day we had to make a little change of plans, what was also no problem for our guide and we did a great alternative route. thanks a lot to the team of desert eyes, it was our best experience in jordan.

Immersive hiking experience in Wadi Rum - Reviewed activities: • 1 Night Accommodation - Desert Camp 15 Oct 2022 • Essence of Wadi Rum Trek 16-20 Oct 2022 • Rakhabat Canyon & Burrah Canyon Day Hike 21 Oct 2022 We can highly recommend Desert Eyes. The preparation with Khaled (owner) went very smoothly by email. Desert Eyes is very flexible and open for customizing their standard offerings to fit your wishes and requirements regarding time window, level of difficulty, distance, food and other personal interests. All agreements made in advance were fulfilled. Every evening Khaled visited us to find out if everything went according to plan. If necessary, adjustments could be made every day, but that was not necessary for us. Everything went perfectly. With the "Desert Camp" package (1 night) you get a pleasant evening and overnight stay in the desert with all basic amenities (shower, toilet, beds, internet). I would recommend combining the overnight stay with at least one day activity (day hike, jeep tour, camel ride). With this combination you will get a good picture of Wadi Rum. However, if you like hiking and are into outdoor life and activities, you should definitely book the Essence of Wadi Rum (+ Rakhabat and Burrah Canyon) with Desert Eyes. It is a particularly varied and immersive experience where you hike across immense plains and through wadi’s, chorums and siqs (canyons). Also on the program are Jordan's highest mountain and two beautiful "bridges." You will spend several days hiking through more remote areas of Wadi Rum where there are far fewer tourists and jeeps. For us, this was a definite plus. Our guide Yosf (aka King of the Desert) is a young and proud Bedouin who loves hiking, Wadi Rum and ancient traditions. He is an excellent guide who showed us the very best of Wadi Rum and gave us many insights. Beware though: when Yosf replaces his sandals with sneakers, you know it will soon become a tad more difficult 😉 Our cook Abdullah spoiled us for 6 days with all kinds of typical Jordanian dishes. We were surprised each time how Abdullah could prepare a delicious lunch or dinner using only 1 gas pit and a wood fire in the middle of the desert. Even after our trekking in Wadi Rum, we hardly had anything better in any restaurant throughout Jordan than with Abdullah in the desert. We also shared many pleasant moments with Abdullah, Yosf and Khaled in the evenings after hiking and diner. We enjoyed many interesting and inspiring conversations over a wood fire. But also just chit chatting and laughing. We even learned a little Arabic and of course enjoyed stargazing before falling asleep under the awesome open sky. Khaled, Abdullah & Yosf all went for the extra mile. They made it an unforgettable experience for us. Shukran jazilan!

Awesome 3d2n hiking experience - Khaled the manager replied promptly to all my queries and was extremely flexible to adjust the itinerary to my needs prior to the trip. We did a 3d2n hike. We had guide Yousef and driver/cook Hassan. Hassan cooked awesome Bedouin meals for us! Yousef took good care of us especially during the technical climb to the Burdah arc. Sleeping in the wild under the stars was the best experience. Wadirumdeserteyes provided clean pillow, sleeping bag and blanket. Our 2nd night we stayed at the campsite in the tent which was very comfortable too with shower facilities. We enjoyed the dinner and was very impressed with chef Abu Sleman cheerful personality. He definitely made us felt very welcomed. I would strongly recommend to enjoy Wadi Rum experience with Wadirumdeserteyes!

Great hikes - I and my friend did two days of hiking trips to Jebel Um Ad Dami and Rakhabat Canyon with a night in the Camp and another under the star. Jebel Um Ad Dami is very spectacular and Rakhabat allows us to see different aspects of Wadi Rum. I highly recommend both. We also had jeep tours around the dessert, Our guide was very skillful in navigating the Wadi and helped us a lot in hiking. He is also a great cook ! Prepared us meals and beds for the night under the stars. He is so friendly and very knowledgeable. We had a great time together! The camp is so fantastic, with comfortable beds, great food, tea, and other amenities. Dessert Eyes is a great tour operator ! We were so looked after! Highly recommend the tour.
