- Lawrence’s Spring - Lawrence Spring - This natural water source, with its cool water cascading down the mountains into troughs, is a favorite spot for camels! With small trees and vibrant green moss, it is a true oasis. Relax here as the Bedouins and their herds once did, and watch herds of camels pass by, eager for fresh water. Alternatively, climb the mountain for spectacular views and numerous Thamudic inscriptions.
- Jebel Khazali - Khazali Canyon - From the outside, it appears to be an ordinary mountain, but entering the canyon between the split mountains is like traveling back in time. Discover traces of merchants who journeyed with their caravans from Egypt to Damascus, and pilgrims who passed through the canyon to Mecca. Observe the fascinating Thamudic, Nabatean, and Islamic inscriptions, along with petroglyphs of humans, animals, and footprints. A series of basins can be found at the back.
- Wadi Rum Protected Area - Red Sand Dune - This is the most renowned sand dune in Wadi Rum, known for its red color due to a high concentration of iron oxide. Although it seems like a simple climb, the soft sand can be challenging to walk on, providing entertainment for locals as tourists attempt the ascent. At the top, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the valley. The best way to descend is by running or sandboarding.
- Wadi Rum Protected Area - Little Bridge - Over the years, various severe weather conditions have formed this natural Little Bridge on a rock formation in the Khor El Ajram area. Named Little Bridge due to its modest height, it is easy to climb, yet offers stunning views and appears large and impressive in photos. It is ideal for families with children and those who prefer not to climb too high. Upon descending, enjoy a cup of sweet tea in the Bedouin tent, where souvenirs are available, or relax and socialize with locals.
- Wadi Rum Protected Area - Umm Fruth Rock Bridge - Standing 15 meters high, this is the most famous bridge in Wadi Rum. While not a historical site, it is the perfect spot for capturing enviable photos. Hand your phone or camera to your guide, who will remain on the ground to take an impressive photo of you atop the bridge. Locals easily navigate the bridge, but tourists may find it more challenging, hence small holes have been made to facilitate the climb.
- Wadi Rum Protected Area - Traditional Bedouin Lunch - Enjoy a delightful traditional lunch prepared by your guide at a scenic location. The menu varies daily, featuring a warm meal with vegetables, bread, hummus, yogurt, and other local delicacies. While the meal is being prepared, explore the area with a hike or simply relax and take in the Wadi Rum landscape.
- Wadi Rum Protected Area - Abu Khashaba Canyon - Stretch your legs and enjoy a pleasant walk in this deep, narrow valley, surrounded by towering mountain walls. The abundant greenery contrasts beautifully with the red desert sand. Discover various types of trees and plants, and listen to the melodious chirping of countless birds. Locals have hung bottles to collect rainwater for the birds to drink. It is a true oasis of tranquility. The walk takes 30 to 45 minutes, and your guide will meet you on the other side.
- Lawrence’s House - Lawrence’s House - Lawrence’s house holds significant historical importance in Wadi Rum. The Nabateans laid the foundation over 2000 years ago, serving as a stop for passing caravans. Later, it became known as Lawrence’s house, as T.E. Lawrence, from the story “Lawrence of Arabia,” was based here. After a short climb to the top, be amazed by the countless piles of stones. In the past, Bedouins stacked stones as road markers. Enjoy the expansive view of the desert plain, perfect for capturing stunning photos.
- Wadi Rum Protected Area - White Desert - While Wadi Rum is renowned for its red sand, further south, the area transforms into the white desert. It feels like entering a completely different world. This area is less frequented by tourists, offering more flora to discover and a greater chance to spot wildlife. Standing in the white sand and observing the transition to the red part in the distance is truly special. Notice the differences in the landscape, rock formations, and even the sand itself.
- Wadi Rum Protected Area - Mushroom Rock - Wadi Rum is home to many famous rock formations, known for their unusual and sometimes amusing shapes. The mushroom-shaped rock owes its form to years of erosion, with the lower part eroding faster than the upper part. Mushroom Rock is a fun place to take great pictures and find some shelter. Bedouins used rock formations like this for shelter after walking in the hot desert for hours.
- Wadi Rum Protected Area - Burdah Rock Bridge - At the summit of Jabal Burdah, discover one of the highest natural rock bridges in the world. During the jeep tour, a stop is made nearby to admire the bridge from a distance. The total climb to the bridge can take up to 4 hours, which is not included in the jeep tour but can be booked via a hiking tour or upon request.
- Wadi Rum Protected Area - Sunset Viewpoint - Wadi Rum is renowned for its breathtaking sunsets, with different colors visible each day. The best spots to watch are known, and visitors are taken to a secluded area to overlook the wide panoramic landscape as the sun sets, while sweet Bedouin tea is prepared on the fire.
