• Petra - Wadi Musa - Depart from the hotel early in the morning to head south to the Nabatean Red Rose City of Petra, a renowned Wonder of the World, for a classic tour. As you travel, enjoy the desert landscapes and listen to stories of Jordan’s rich history. Carved into a sandstone valley by the Nabataean people over 2,000 years ago, this ancient rose-red rock city is located 245 kilometers from Amman at the crossroads of historic trade routes, dominating ancient Arabia. Arrive at Petra’s main site to delve into its fascinating history. Upon arrival, leave your vehicle and embark on a 2-hour guided tour of this UNESCO Heritage-listed marvel with a local guide.
• Siq - Begin by walking through the famous “Siq”, a narrow 1.2-kilometer path; a rock fissure that served as the main entrance to the city, and be captivated by your first view of the stunning Treasury “El - Khazneh”.
• Al-Khazneh - as the canyon suddenly opens up. Admire this rose-pink masterpiece, originally constructed to house invaluable treasures, and capture it on camera. Then, stroll through the expanding canyon to see other monuments such as the 3,000-seater Theater, the Royal Tombs, and the Byzantine Church. As you explore, listen to your guide explain how the Nabateans sculpted the buildings and learn about their adaptation to the harsh desert environment.
• Wadi Rum - After your exploration concludes, return to your vehicle to continue to Wadi Rum Desert Valley of Moon; the filming location for The Martian and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. This expansive desert landscape of mountains, valleys, cliffs, and rocks is renowned for its shifting pink-and-red hues, Bedouin settlements, and ties to T.E. Lawrence, also known as World War I’s “Lawrence of Arabia”. Upon arrival, enjoy an approximately 2-hour tour by 4x4 local jeep. Traverse the canyons and cliffs, and soak in the timeless scenery.
