Desert Route from Amman to Petra

Amman - Guests will be collected from their hotel in Amman or Queen Alia International Airport. From there, the journey heads south along the desert highway to Wadi Musa, the town of Petra. Visitors will explore Petra and then check into their hotel in Wadi Musa for an overnight stay.

Petra - Petra, one of Jordan’s most remarkable treasures, is situated 225 kilometers from Amman. This enchanting site, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a World Wonder, is a testament to the Nabataeans.

The visit begins with a stroll through Al-Siq, a long, narrow passageway of stunning beauty that serves as the main entrance to the city. As visitors approach the end of Al-Siq, they will be mesmerized by the Treasury “Al-Khazneh.” This graceful, nearly 40-meter-high structure is entirely carved into the mountain’s rock, hidden within a high-walled elliptical valley. It is adorned with intricate Corinthian capitals, friezes, and figures.

After enjoying lunch in Petra, guests can explore other significant monuments, including the Monastery, the Altar of Sacrifice, the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, and the Roman Theater. Optional: Petra Night Show every day except Friday and Saturday.

Petra & Transfer to Wadi Rum & Jeep Safari

Wadi Rum - The following day, the journey continues to Wadi Rum, a captivating desert landscape that has served as the backdrop for films such as The Martian, Lawrence of Arabia, and Theeb. This vast, serene, and peaceful expanse offers a unique escape to another world, where extraordinary mountains rise from the pink desert sand, creating a truly awe-inspiring spectacle. It’s a place to calm the spirit and clear the mind.

Immerse in the extraordinary beauty of Wadi Rum by hiking through its narrow gorges and desert plains, past natural rock bridges and towering formations. Embark on a jeep safari with a local Bedouin driver to explore further. For an additional experience, consider a camel ride across the desert. Guests can also enjoy traditional Arabic tea or coffee while mingling with locals and witnessing a breathtaking sunset over the silky desert plains. As night falls, marvel at the starlit sky and the picturesque view of the desert sand from a cozy relaxation area around the tents.

From Wadi Rum & Dead Sea Float

Dead Sea Region - The next day, experience the magnificent Dead Sea, a transformative journey to rejuvenate body and soul. This unique natural wonder, approximately 400 meters below sea level, is Earth’s lowest point, boasting a hyper-saline environment with natural benefits.
