An island experience - This is an exciting and highly recommended tour that starts directly at the port in Gothenburg. The one-hour journey was very instructive. You can also buy snacks, drinks or lunch on the board. For the island itself you have 2 hours to explore it. You can join a guided tour or start on your own. We really liked it.

Good day. - If you have booked lunch, you also have a reserved table, nice not to have to rush for a good seat. Friendly tableware and skipper. Chose the shrimp sandwich, it was ok. Bought to guide at Vinga, 50kr. Two hours on the island passed quickly. The journey home on the aft deck was lovely in the sunshine.

In the company of good friends - Absolutely magical luck, very good Service. West Coast at its best! Easy and convenient to connect to the boat from Alingsås 👌

A must do! - There are a couple of companies that book the only ferry boat that goes to Vinga. It is one hour trip with the captain/tape that gives a little explanation in Swedish and English. The little island is everything Sweden is in a visitor imagination: clear water, fiord stones, little red wood house, lighthouse, seagulls flying over a marine symbol. There is also a little museum about the life of a famous composer and a bunker to hide from submarines during the war; seals can be spotted on the way! There are a few volunteers that give the tour for apx $4.00: very nice people and the little money allow the entrance to the top of the lighthouse and worth. It is a great 4 hour tour that I recommend

P.A. system tooooo loud for those on the deck. Boat ride and cafe as well as commentary great but tooooo loud! Baked goods delic - This was very educational and a beautiful day. Boat and staff kind are caring. Great for families and a gent had two small well behaved dogs. He and the dogs had to sit under the loudspeaker which was quite loud.

Good experience - Generally a good experience altough you should know (ecpecially if you're from abroad) that it is not possible to pay the entrance fee of 50 SEK for the museum and the lighthouse with credit card. It is only possible to pay with cash or swish. The boat out to Vinga had a recorded guide with interesting information about Gothenburg, and the lunch on the boat was appreciated. The 1h 45 mins on Vinga can be a bit stressful if you want to see everything as there is probably a bit of waiting time to get up in the lighthouse so you might want to go there before going to the museum. The Evert Taube museum is very small but you can still spend a bit of time there if you're interested! The stop at Vinga could easily be 2,5 hours, but I wouldn't say 1h 45 mins is too short. Would recommend!

Nice, but a bit boring after a while - Not as much interesting information as we had hoped. Important to sit on your right side, as all guiding is done in that direction. We sat with our backs to our backs, strictly to turn on the hard wooden benches. Have a nice ride. Expensive on the boat. Half a mug of coffee 35kr and a piggelin for 25kr. Recommend to bring your own coffee basket.

A rocky journey - We had booked a trip to Vinga, and it started out nice. After the first stop at a fortress, the captain announced that, waves was expected for the next 15 minutes. It turned out to be 45 minutes of one h... of a rollercoaster ride. Way beyond what is to be expected of a leisure boattrip. Especially taking into consideration that the tour description says, that good weather is a condition for this particular trip. Glasses,, porcelain, and bottles in the bar were broken. The wine bottles from the fridge rolled around on the floor. We had to hold on tight to a shelve to stay at our chairs. Several people on the top deck got seasick. We did not see anybody from the crew on the top deck, nor in the shattered bar. Luckily the trip back was more calm, but several people remained very nervous, not knowing what to expect. I was not a nice experience, and we really wonder why the captain did not return, when the conditions turned so bad

Smocked and crowded - We booked the boat on Friday 23/7 at 12. The boat was jam-packed and there were even those who did not have a place to sit but had to cram together! We could not move in 1h15 min as the trip to Vinga took. Once on site we could not enjoy the wonderful island but the children wanted to return as soon as possible to get a seat! And so lucky that we interrupted our tour on the island, people were already queuing about 40 minutes before it was time to go back, so there were more who were afraid of not getting space. Very sad that we had such an experience and we will probably not book with this company again.
