This private tour offers a 7-seater van accommodating up to 6 guests. The earliest records of wine and olive oil in Crete trace back to 5,000 BC during the Minoan civilization. Today, 7,000 years later, Cretans continue to produce wine, beer, and olive oil on the same land, with advancements in technology and crop optimization enhancing production.
During this tour, guests will visit a winery and an olive oil factory, both of which uphold high production standards by blending traditional methods with modern technology. Each location will be explored for approximately one hour, including tastings and facility tours. Tastings are priced at around 25 euros each and are paid separately.
The tour includes a scenic drive through the Cretan countryside, a visit to a 4,000-year-old olive tree, and lunch at a local restaurant. Optional visits include a brewery, Gonia Monastery, or Maleme Airfield with its WWII German Cemetery.
Tours are not available on weekends or holidays. Locations can be visited from April 1st to early November, subject to availability.
