Best private tour Athens has it all - The sounion and Vougliameni tour was the best tour we have ever done in Greece the guide Harry was friendly knowledgeable and professional we will do this tour again in Athens ! Fantastic tour with great photo stops - Theo was fantastic. We had a great time. We weren’t rushed and he showed us places along the way that we didn’t expect to see. He was also excellent at helping our daughter with her photos. We all agree that it is the best tour we’ve taken while we have been in Athens.

The best tour guide and the best dining experience - Our tour guide, Andreas, was wonderful! In fact, we had him as our guide on an earlier tour and enjoyed him so much that we specifically requested him for this tour! He made sure to pick us up from our hotel early enough so that we would be sure to have a full 2 hours at the Lake. At the Lake he helped secure our entry tickets. When we were done we headed to the Temple of Poseidon, where he again helped secure our tickets, helping us avoid a very long line. After the sun had set we headed back, but with a stop for a leisurely dinner at a wonderful restaurant that was run by an old friend of Andreas. Andreas helped us choose our fish from the various catch-of-the-day options. Then we got VIP treatment by the restaurant staff. It was probably our best and most memorable meal in our 2 weeks in Greece! Can't thank Andreas enough! He is really personable and accommodating - ask for him to be your guide! Beautiful, fun-filled day for the whole family. - We had such an amazing time on this tour and our guide Mr. George was fantastic. We added some extra beach time to the trip and I highly recommend. Our kids loved every minute of it and the seafood restaurant that Mr. George suggested was some of the best food we’ve had.

A great start for our time in Greece. - Our trip was on a beautiful Sunday afternoon when it seemed that all of Athens was at the beach. We were unable to get into the lake because of a wedding and the beaches were crowded. However, Giorgos found a wonderful private beach for us. After a couple of hours there he took us to a waterfront seafood restaurant that was just what we were looking for. After dinner he took us to the temple for sunset. Afterwards he was waiting nearby which allowed us to beat the worst of the traffic. Giorgos was knowledgeable about both Greek culture but also the area we were visiting. He was very personable and courteous. He made our first day in Greece everything we could have hoped.

This tour is a must with Theo! - Theo was an absolutely amazing tour guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Athens and the suits we stopped at. We loved our time at the lake, an absolute must. Theo knew every place to stop for beautiful pictures and took us to an amazing spot for fresh seafood. Our time at the Temple of Poseidon was magical. Best day in Greece so far. Theo made the trip!

Jason was a great guide! You should do this tour! - We had a wonderful time with Jason. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. We were able to get several picture of the temple with no other people in them, which was unexpected but great! The wildflowers in the area were absolutely beautiful. And yes people were swimming in the lake at this time of year :) Beautiful area, so glad we went

Perfect day!!! - Jason picked us up right at our hotel and we drove about 40 minutes to Lake Vougliameni. It did not even seem like 40 minutes because Jason was pointing out sites and beaches to us along the way. He the dropped us off at the entrance to the lake. Rent a cabana if you can. We brought towels but you can rent the there as well. We swam, we lounged, we ate and drank. It was absolutely amazing! We stayed for 2 1/2 hours. You are able to change your clothes in a changing room. We changed and then Jason was waiting for us at the exit. He the proceeded to drive us along the coast to the Temple of Poseidon. The ride along the coast was incredible, the views are spectacular. Jason was more than willing to stop for a photo op along the way. Then we arrived at the temple of Poseidon. The temple itself is majestic sitting up on the hill overlooking the sea. However, the sunset stole the show. Simply stunning!! Finally Jason was waiting for us after the sun set. He drove us back to our hotel a different way. Giving us more insight on the towns we drove through. He was so friendly and full of information about the sites and Greek culture. I would rate this trip a 10 out of 10. Jason gets an 11!! He’s great!! It was a perfect day!!!

Lake Vouligmeni and Sunset at Poseidon - Our guide Theo was very knowledgeable and friendly and made an extra special effort with our children.He was kind and was spot on about timings for the sunset which was wonderful.The only thing I would say is that our time at the lake was short due to it being the afternoon and over busy in August as we still had to queue to get in and buy tickets.I would say to visit the lake in the morning so the trip is not a good combination together at this time of year.We would go again but book lake separately as it was so lovely and the sunset At Posiedon was out of this world. The food at the restaurant was lovely.Thank you Theo.I hope to see you again.
