A driver and guide... - An exceptional driver and guide , Marius was considerate , attentive to our requests , very kind , good advice , he is very professional and friendly . We highly recommend . A crush on the temple with a beautiful sunset.

Perfect day!!! - Jason picked us up right at our hotel and we drove about 40 minutes to Lake Vougliameni. It did not even seem like 40 minutes because Jason was pointing out sites and beaches to us along the way. He the dropped us off at the entrance to the lake. Rent a cabana if you can. We brought towels but you can rent the there as well. We swam, we lounged, we ate and drank. It was absolutely amazing! We stayed for 2 1/2 hours. You are able to change your clothes in a changing room. We changed and then Jason was waiting for us at the exit. He the proceeded to drive us along the coast to the Temple of Poseidon. The ride along the coast was incredible, the views are spectacular. Jason was more than willing to stop for a photo op along the way. Then we arrived at the temple of Poseidon. The temple itself is majestic sitting up on the hill overlooking the sea. However, the sunset stole the show. Simply stunning!! Finally Jason was waiting for us after the sun set. He drove us back to our hotel a different way. Giving us more insight on the towns we drove through. He was so friendly and full of information about the sites and Greek culture. I would rate this trip a 10 out of 10. Jason gets an 11!! He’s great!! It was a perfect day!!!

Beautiful, great tour! - Peter was a fantastic guide! We had a smooth drive to the lake (about 30 min outside Athens city center), where you have to pay an extra entrance fee (around 20 Euros pp). Also bring your own towels as they charge for them. The lake wasn't quite what I expected - it was a resort. Pretty much all the chairs were taken and the staff was quite rude to folks who weren't staying the resort. (This isn't reflective of this tour - more the resort where they took us) But the water itself was a great temperature! I would suggest wearing water shoes as the bottom is quite rocky. Also... the lake is filled with little fish who like to nibble on your feet/legs (like the fish pedicures!). It didn't hurt, but was quite annoying and made us leave earlier than we would have otherwise. Then there is a drive to the restaurant (about 15 min). The food there was excellent and the service was very friendly! We then drove another 30 min to the temple, which was gorgeous at sunset! It's a bit of a hike to get up there but it's worth it! So many great pics. We suggest leaving before the sun has fully set to avoid all the traffic leaving. Then it was a peaceful 1.25 hour trip back to our Athens apartment. He also gave us a thank you gift of some local sweets and soap! Overall, it was a fantastic adventure and one we'll remember!!

Amazing experience because of our driver - Our driver was beyond amazing! The drive was beautiful. He was so knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and accommodating. I can’t say enough. This trip was well worth every penny we paid. I would do it again without hesitation.

Must do - This tour was one of the highlights of our trip. The lake was a nice relaxing time away from the city. The sunset at the temple of Poseidon was so beautiful. Harry our tour guide was wonderful lots of knowledge of Greece and made it very enjoyable.

Sea, sun, and moon at the temple of Poseidon. - Mr. George was the perfect gentleman to take us on this evening tour. He was kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable and treated all of us with kindness and care. Was very attentive to our granddaughters, who are 10 & 6. He took time to have conversation with our 10 year old and share historical facts and stories of mythology. If we were to do this tour again I would skip the lake and go straight to the taverna by the beach for a longer swim before heading up to the temple. The sunset at the temple was out of this world. A memory that will stay with our grandchildren for a lifetime. Thank you!

Lake Vouligmeni and Sunset at Poseidon - Our guide Theo was very knowledgeable and friendly and made an extra special effort with our children.He was kind and was spot on about timings for the sunset which was wonderful.The only thing I would say is that our time at the lake was short due to it being the afternoon and over busy in August as we still had to queue to get in and buy tickets.I would say to visit the lake in the morning so the trip is not a good combination together at this time of year.We would go again but book lake separately as it was so lovely and the sunset At Posiedon was out of this world. The food at the restaurant was lovely.Thank you Theo.I hope to see you again.
