The journey starts at Volos Port, traveling through scenic mountain roads to the delightful village of Tsagkarada. Situated on the slopes of Mount Pelion and surrounded by dense forests, this charming village is ideal for a brief stop. Enjoy a coffee break, capture photos of the stunning landscapes, and visit the renowned Agia Paraskevi Square, which features the legendary 1,000-year-old plane tree. From Tsagkarada, continue the adventure by driving through lush green forests to Mylopotamos Beach, one of the most beautiful and famous beaches in Pelion. Here, there is time for a relaxing swim in the crystal-clear waters. Before heading back to Volos, an optional lunch break can be arranged upon guests’ request and subject to availability, either at a traditional seaside taverna above Mylopotamos Beach or at Kala Nera Village, a charming seaside resort on the Pagasetic Gulf.
- We recommend comfortable clothes and sensible walking shoes or sneakers. Sunglasses and sunscreen are also suggested, as well as a change of clothes and a swim-suit, of course!
