The Battle of Long Tan - Let’s Go!
After being picked up from the hotel at 8:00 am, enjoy a pleasant 1.5-hour drive to Ba Ria Central Market. Next, visit the Phuoc Long Tunnels, a 1.4 km tunnel system where the guide will share captivating stories about the Viet Cong’s life during wartime and explain the growth of cashew nuts. Nui Dat Hill - Step Back In Time In Nui Dat & Luscombe Airfield
Arrive at Nui Dat, also known as SAS Hill, the former base of the Australian Army. The guide will highlight the area’s significant history, using photos to help visualize this period. Then, proceed to Luscombe Airfield, preserved in a small village, where the guide will share stories about this important site. There will also be an opportunity to visit the kindergarten built by Australian Veterans. -
Long Phuoc Tunnels - Absorb The History Of The Battle Of Long Tan
Continue to the Long Tan Cross, the most poignant part of the tour. With flowers and incense, a ritual ceremony will be performed to honor those who lost their lives here. Afterwards, view Horseshoe Hill from the main street, as the area is protected due to unexploded bombs and landmines. -
Vung Tau - Take In The Sights In Vung Tau City
Departing from Nui Dat, head to the coastal city of Vung Tau for a delightful lunch with a sea view. Visit Vung Tau’s must-see attractions, including a climb to the lighthouse’s top for a panoramic view of the city and the East Sea. Descend to visit the last King Bao Dai’s White Palace.
The Adventure Isn’t Over Yet!
Before returning to Ho Chi Minh City, there will be a chance to take a photo with the famous Statue of Jesus atop the hill. Return to HCMC around 5:00 pm, with drop-off at the hotel or any preferred location within HCMC.
