Definitely do both classes! - Loved these classes. Highly recommend doing both as they were both fun in different ways. We ended up purchasing some coffee supplies so we can show some friends at home! And our lanterns also turned out great thanks to their help so we ended up having a fun day with some great keepsakes.

Hands on and lots of fun. I would recommend this tour. - So much fun! The coffee making class far surpassed my expectations, the hosts were passionate, organised and entertaining. The whole set up is very professional, the coffees we made (5 different) were delicious and would cater to all tastes. We were accompanied on a short stroll to the lantern making class which again was well organised and fun. There was a choice of 4 lantern shapes/types & a myriad of fabrics to choose from. At the end of the class the lanterns are collapsible and packaged up to make them easy to transport home in luggage.

Awesome experience - What an amazing experience. Tang was so knowledgeable about coffee and had such a good sense of humour. It was wonderful to be welcomed by his family to make 5 super tasty coffees. We especially loved the salt and coconut coffees. Would definitely recommend this quirky activity in Hoi An!

A real must do activity! - Can't recommend this activity highly enough we had a brilliant time!! The coffee making was up first - it was a slick operation and we got to make 5 different types of Vietnamese coffee. Making the Coffees was really fun as we got to use filters, whisks, frothers and all sorts! My favourites were the coconut coffee and salt coffee. We also got a short talk on the history of coffee in Vietnam which was really interesting. It was a large class but everything ran seamlessly and the staff were fantastic. It was a family run business and you could really tell from their passion and the way they bounced off eachother. Next up was the lantern making class which was in a separate building around the corner. We loved both parts of the day but this was our favourite part and a real must do! You got to choose whether you wanted to build the lantern frame and fabric or just put the fabric on a pre built frame. Both options are easy enough to be doable but still fun enough to make you feel proud of the end result. And the staff were just amazing. They were so funny and friendly and helpful - if you make a mistake don't worry they will fix it and have a laugh with you while doing it. The lanterns also fold up for easy packing. The staff really did make the whole experience so much more memorable and enjoyable and this is a must do activity in Hoi An!

Coffee and lantern making workshops. - Both the coffee making and lantern making were really fun. Myself, my partner and our 20 year old loved it. The coffee making was a real laugh and the staff were very attentive and kept us on track. We did the shorter lantern making class which was around 2 hours long and loved it. Came away with 3 beautiful lanterns to take home. Once again the young staff spoke good English and really went all out to help and made it such a nice experience. Would definitely recommend.

Super enjoyable - We had so much fun learning to make the Vietnamese coffee, we all had cheeky little aprons to wear ,I would definitely recommend the coffee and lantern making classes,great experience all round

Great time! - Great time! Really fun way to spend an afternoon. Linh was a great host for the coffee portion, and the teachers were great for the lanterns, as well. Only constructive point would be it could all be done in less time. Seemed like a lot of downtime, and while nice to meet people, could be less of a time commitment. Maybe shave a 1/2 hour off each activity, and would be perfect.

Enjoyable Experience - This was a great, well-organized experience. My time in Hoi An was brief so I was looking for a way to combine 2 activities that I was interested in to help make the most of my time here. This experience offers just that. Enjoyed learning about and making 5 different Vietnamese coffees. The lantern making was fun and the person demonstrating the lantern making was very kind, patient and helpful. Highly recommend doing this combined activity!

Great fun!! - We loved this! Educative and fun!!! Really loved learning how to make the coffees and the guys running the course were very entertaining. Coffee was delicious. Lantern making course was equally as fun. Great instructors and wonderful to come home with a set of lanterns between us. Highly recommended!!

Fabulous classes! - This was a great double workshop! We did the coffee making class first. It was the perfect combination of being entertaining and informative. Loved making all the different types of coffee and the staff were great fun! We then went to the lantern workshop. Again, it was fantastic. Staff were good humoured and very helpful! Great to be able to bring our creations home as a fun reminder of our time in Hoi An. Highly recommend both of these classes! Big congratulations to the businesses that put these together! They are fabulous!
