The tour includes visits to two towns along the Danube River: Szentendre and Visegrád.
The first stop is the artistic village of Szentendre, renowned as the most picturesque town near Budapest, set in a natural environment. It features cobblestone squares, colorful old houses, narrow streets, elegant churches, charming cafes, and quality souvenir and art shops offering a wide selection of Hungarian contemporary and folklore art. Szentendre serves as both home and inspiration for Hungary’s finest artists. As you stroll through the enchanting and tranquil streets of the downtown area, you can explore fascinating museums or galleries showcasing local art.
Visegrád was once the capital of Hungary. From the hill, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Danube Bend. There is an option to visit the castle ruins (tickets are approximately 7 euros per person). During the tour, there is also an opportunity to enjoy lunch at a fine restaurant with a scenic view.
