It was a Christmas present to my Dad and Mom. They loved it. As you taxied down the runway, my Dad realized that 47 years ago he flew on a C-47, an embassy flight, from Bangkok to Saigon to be with his Father for Christmas. It brought back memories and started new ones.

Thank you for the most wonderful experience! We have told SO many people about this. I hope they all take the time to come out. We told them to let ya'll know The Mankins sent them! I cannot wait to take this flight again. Question- How come you don't fly to Dallas- would it be easy to and just add 20 or so minutes onto the flight?

The staff was amazing. The process from check in to flight was amazingly easy. The plane is so roomy there is plenty of space to walk around and talk to the pilots and take pictures. "This is by far the best present I ever I got" said my girlfiend.

All the crew & volunteers were very polite, and considerate. It was very evident they wanted you to have a wonderful experience & great time. I highly recommend it as the lights were beautiful and the plane was awesome. It is a once in a lifetime experience.

This was such a great experience. The staff were all super friendly and informative. My husband loves military history so this was great for him. We enjoyed the experience. It was great that you only sat in your seats for takeoff & landing. We were allowed out of our seats almost immediately after takeoff and allowed to walk around and view the plane, the cockpit and view the lights from all the windows on the plane. It was awesome and we plan to go again! 5 stars and a big thumbs up!

Went on the Christmas Light Flight. It was a blast! Great for families!
- Gareth
I fly most weeks with work on commercial jets, occasionally on a prop plane. This christmas light flight is much better than commercial flying in every way.

A delightful experience for my wife and me. All of the volunteer staff and flight crew were cordial, friendly, and very helpful. Since the flight only takes place about 1200 above ground level, the views of downtown Fort Worth and Interlochen were fantastic! Once airborne, there's plenty of time to get up and move around to various windows for pictures as well as up to the cockpit to briefly speak with the flight crew. Even impeccably maintained vintage aircraft such as this could stop offering fights at any time, so if you've ever thought about doing something as unique and novel as this, consider doing it sooner rather than later. We plan on returning for more!
