Awesome view of the prop engine starting and stopping. Great flight!
Absolutely amazing to be able to interact with such an important piece of history. The flight and cabin/support crews were all so enthusiastic, helpful, courteous and lovely. Could not have been better!
Got to get up close to a C47 and then fly in it. Great time.
Great experience, very friendly staff!! We had even more of a personal experience due to the weather/clouds delay!! They were kind enough to let us come out and take pictures of the plane, meet the pilots, let us board the plane to take a look - so awesome!! Would definitely be interested in doing this again!
The flight is performed with professional people. They are extremely aware of your safety and enjoyment. The flight I took was not a full passenger load, which made the viewing much easier. The view of Ft. Worth and vicinity was very satisfying and appeasing. The flight was scheduled for 30 minutes and indeed it was. I'm thinking about booking a Christmas flight since the Father's day flight was so enjoyable. Anyone wanting to take a flight on a WWII aircraft come out to The Greatest Generation Aircraft and book a flight.
A unique experience. Not long, but long enough. Plenty of time to see the sights and see the aircraft. Very nice staff and pilots.
Excellent volunteer crew - what a blast! Will definitely do it again!
Was a wonderful experience! The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Hands down, an excellent experience. Will do again!
Hubby and daughter loved the flight.. I wanted to take a picture with them by the plane after they came back and I was told no that i couldn't. I was very disappointed. No reason for this..
Dad and I loved it. Will be coming back for the Christmas night flight
A very unique, super cool experience. Would like to do it again. I think the night time version (Christmas) would also be awesome.
Very enjoyable experience. The flight was hot & bumpy- but very authentic. Good communication before & after; and more importantly competent professionals running everything. I’d highly recommend it.
Once in a lifetime experience! Great job!
had a great time . i will see you guys around Christmas for a night flight.
Everyone did a great job it's a great piece of history and so glad to be a part of it.
Very knowledgeable and welcoming staff, and unique experience. 10/10 would do it again.

very professional & well done. Allowing us to view the aircraft on the ground and being in close proximity to the cockpit were highlights - as well as the signatures of the folks that were veterans of flying in that era.
Plane was in very nice condition, ride was smooth, and very professional crew.
The entire team at Greatest Generation Aircraft were extremely professional and friendly. The flight was so much fun with great views of our beautiful city. I highly recommend the experience!
Super friendly and accommodating. Flight was fun and exciting. Took my 9 and 18 year old kids and they both had a blast. Flying around cowboys stadium and the view in general was amazing. Even on one of the hottest days it was tolerable once we were in flight. Pilots were top notch. Takeoff and landing were better than most commercials flights I've been on!
Wonderful experience from start to finish. Airplane has been beautifully and lovingly restored by a group of dedicated volunteers who welcome you and make you feel very comfortable with flying in a 75-year-old airplane. The pilots are very experienced and also very knowledgeable about the aircraft, flying, and the place it served in our history. Got to do this with my son who's at the Air Force Academy and we would both do it again in a heartbeat.
The volunteers working we helpful and enthusiastic. Even though the weather was hot we were fully informed about staying hydrated to prevent air sickness, and water was provided. We thoroughly enjoyed the flight and wished it could have been a little longer.
Every thing was just perfect. And my Dad (and Mom) was thrilled with the specoal recognition he got for being a veteran. 1A experience!
every step in this adventure went smoothly, From check-in to boarding, picture taking, take-off (wow), to letting us wander around the plane while in flight. The pilots were patient and very helpful answering questions and telling us about the history of the plane. A very patriotic team of sincere volunteers.
GREAT Father's Day gift for my Dad! He is a former Flight Navigator on the C-130 in the Air Force. One for the books... he's still talking about it! I am pretty much daughter of the year!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this flight!! It's fun and the crew is AWESOME!!
I'm a history buff. What more could one ask for. Wonderful. Will be back for Christmas flight.
