Musee Escoffier de l’Art Culinaire - Created over 50 years ago, the Escoffier Culinary Art Museum is housed in the birthplace of Auguste Escoffier, one of the greatest chefs in French gastronomy. Humanist, inventive and visionary, he is considered a true master for the chefs of today and tomorrow. Nestled in the heart of the village of Villeneuve-Loubet, in an 18th century Provencal house, the Museum invites you to browse the rooms it once occupied.
The only museum of culinary art in France, no less than ten exhibition rooms spread over 300 m² are available to the visitor, mixing souvenirs and personal objects of the great Chef, kitchen furniture of yesteryear, magnificent sugar and chocolate sculptures or an impressive collection of menus!
Each year a temporary exhibition is dedicated to a particular theme.

Genius - This museum presents the exciting life of Auguste Escoffier, as well as his breathtaking journey. All this is revealed to us in rooms more beautiful than each other!
I recommend audio guides, because they allow a real deepening in this den of gastronomy!

I recommend the Villeneuve Loubet Museum of Culinary Arts! - Very nice museum, very interesting. The room with the chocolate sculptures is sublime. Very funny audio guides! I recommend!

A very beautiful discovery - I didn't know about this museum, I was walking past without coming home. What a mistake!!!!
A very nice discovery, I learned a lot during the visit about Escoffier's cooking but especially the man.
The person at Welcoming is very friendly.

Beautiful discovery - I thought I knew Escoffier... I discovered an exceptional human being.

Fabulous - Welcoming is very professional (samadhi 27/9 afternoon), friendly and very involved in the life of the museum. The tour is very informative for those who love good French cuisine. A very nice experience that will be repeated with friends.

Especially fun for home chefs - Wonderful experience at the Escoffier museum. A wonderful tour de force of the man behind the kitchen brigade. We particularly enjoyed the room with chocolate sculptures and the menu room. The materials were largely in French, some in English. The people at the desk were super-friendly and we had a wonderful peach melba tasting at the end of our visit.

Nice, small museum - This is a very nice small museum in the house in which Escoffier grew up. The collection includes old kitchen implements, from his generation and his ancestors’, a floor filled with menus from decades past and the stories behind them, and, of course, much Escoffier memorabilia. We spent more than an hour there and enjoyed the visit very much.
