Lots of creepy crawlers - Me and my boyfriend did this tour, our guide Leo was very knowledgeable about all the little creatures surrounding us. We saw: tarantulas ( baby and mature), tarantula hawk, bats, birds, stink bugs, stick bugs, a millions wolf spiders, daddy long legs, giant crickets, giant cockroach, giant moth, yellow tree frog, milk frog, tailless whip scorpion, leaf cutter ants ( carrying pieces of leaves), ant lions, and more. It was a lot of fun. We were in a group of 6 and it lasted for about 2 hours.

A Must For Adventurous Nature Lovers - Leo was a phenomenal guide who spotted creatures with otherworldly ease. He was terrific in sharing knowledge about different species and couldn't have been friendlier.

Super convenient Tamarindo Night Hike! - We took our 14 y/o creepy-crawly lover on the hike with Leo and she loved it! She was surprised by how much we did end up seeing only 12 minutes from our AirBnB in Tamarindo. There was another family and a couple also on the tour with us and Leo was really good with their 5 year-old too. We saw tons of spiders (but don't worry, they all froze and didn't actually come near us), some tiny snakes, scorpions, turtle, etc. and as always, it's amazing how much a guide spots that we would never see on our own. And for those that are bug-magnets, I didn't get one mosquito bite, which can always make or break things for me if I'm being honest.

Appreciate amazing Costa Rica! - We had a great time with Leo! It was a fun to step out of Tamarindo and appreciate the incredible biodiversity of Costa Rica. We traveled with my mother-in-law and 5-year-old son - both easily navigated the walk. We saw spiders, different incredible bugs, scorpions, snakes, turtles, birds, possums, and frogs all hiding in plain sight. Leo has incredible knowledge and passion nature. Our son loved it!

If you like bugs and cool creatures - walk with Leo! - Such a cool unique experience walking in the dry forest with Leo in dark. We saw some awesome creepy crawlers- centipedes, millipedes, tarantulas, cockroaches, scorpions, moths, a snake, birds, lizards, walking sticks, ants, frogs, toads… just incredible. Wear some bug spray and reasonable shoes if rainy season like us! He provides headlamps and safety watch!

Very interesting tour! - Had a good tour with Leo - he was really knowledgeable and kept us safe as we ventured into the forest in the dark! He had a great eye to spot some of the rarer animals and bugs that come out at night... and he gave us great tips to keep our whole group safe. We saw tarantulas, toads, frogs, giant cockroaches, a snake, lizards, and many different types of ants. His english and french were both very good, but I wished that our group was a bit smaller so that we could hear everything he was saying. You don't want to talk too loud in the forest, because it scares the animals away.

Cancelled On Us - They confirmed our trip 2 weeks in advance. They cancelled less than a week before we were scheduled. No reason given. When I reached out, they said their guide was gone for 2 months. Very disappointing.
