Fabulous tour for adults and kids. - We had a fabulous time with Raul on the Lady Moon. Raul contacted us before our trip to let us know that we would have better weather the day before and accommodated us which was totally unnecessary and really appreciated. We went with our 10-year-old twin girls. Raul was very kind to discount their Boat Tour slightly and he had juice boxes for them. I think this trip is way better than the other Boat Tour’s in Porto because the wine that he had was fabulous. I loved each white Porto that he poured us. I think we tried four different ones and it was super cool to be able to go with just a small group of people. Raul‘s boat is very nice and the marina is a little bit far from the main Porto area, but it’s super cool to be able to go out from there and see all of the bridges and then come back. We did a sunset cruise, which was also perfect. It was cold, but Raul had some really cozy blankets that we could use and that was awesome. Raul was very kind and he had a copilot skipper who was also really great. The kids even got to drive the boat for a bit, which was really fun for them. We would absolutely recommend this tour for anybody visiting Porto.

Douro River cruise. - This was a wonderful experience. The crew were friendly and informative. They took us through all the bridges and explained about the history of each one. We also went to the jetty at the mouth of the Douro. Also had tastings of port. Well worth the price.

Would 100% recommend - Fantastic river tour - would highly recommend. Raul was a brilliant captain/guide, friendly and passionate about what he does. His boat was immaculate and felt premium. All the port we sampled tasted fantastic. We chose the sunset option - would recommend this. The views of the Porto in the evening sun, and the views of the sunset over the sea were truly beautiful. Raul timed the tour perfectly to end with the sunset. If you’re doing this in Spring, do bring a coat as it can get a bit chilly - but Raul does have lots of blankets spare. Also child friendly - Raul even let one of the kids on our tour steer the boat for a while (supervised obviously!) Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a truly memorable experience while in Porto - much much better than those cheap mega tourist boats!

A breathtaking trip - What an absolute delight this trip was from start to end. Captain Raul is a charming host, clearly passionate about his town and absolutely fascinating. Every detail is carefully thought through, from the very welcome blankets to the delicious port wine tasting. Raul even changed the time of our sailing very slightly, so we got the perfect sunset. The boat is beautiful and very comfortable . Having a 2 hour tour on a private boat was so much better than one of the larger commercial tour boats. If you can possibly fit this tour into your time in Porto, you absolutely should do so. A completely different view of the city and a real treat. Thank you to Raul and his colleague for a truly memorable trip.

Beautiful city of Porto and sunset unique!! - We made our first boat trip of the year and we loved it. We climb the river Douro and visit the six bridges and the beautiful river of Porto and Gaia. Hostile and very informative guide on the contemporary history of the city of Porto and Gaia, always helpful. During the trip were served different Porto wines and especially I loved the white called teagrima. Single sunset. Even though the cold felt, warm blankets were provided for us to warm up. January 1, 2025 fantastic --a memory for a lifetime :)

Delightful sunset boat ride - Raúl and George were perfect, with Raúl being the main conversationalist, photographer, and drink provider. He was knowledgeable and friendly, and perfectly understood when to give us a chance to have to have time to ourselves and when to hang out with us. The ride itself was lovely, his attention to detail was so appreciated, and we would recommend him to anyone.

Worth it! - What an amazing boat trip on the river! Raúl was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide who created a comfortable and flexible personalized experience for us. The weather was on the chillier side, and he provided plenty of blankets, pillows, and unique Port wine for us to drink throughout the journey. He knew all the history of the city and was able to answer any questions we had as we went down the river and back. We ended the ride at the mouth of the river, looking at the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean—I would highly recommend taking this tour!

Picture postcard perfect Porto! Must book! - We have a very strict policy when it comes to engaging hired guide guides on our travels throughout the world. Our family travels extensively and makes use of local tours almost every place we go (usually two or three international destinations per year). However, we departed from one of our sacrosanct rules by booking this trip with Raul despite there being only 10 reviews, as that does not meet our standard of statistical significance (even though all 10 reviews were excellent!). Having done our tour today for a big group of five adults and four children, I am thrilled to report it was a complete five star experience! Raul led an informative, relaxed and postcard-perfect tour of the Douro and the six bridges. The wines he served were an unexpected delight, adding another element of joy to the immensely pleasurable experience out on his Lady Moon boat! We returned to the marina high on Porto, and full of the contemporary history of the city and surroundings courtesy of Raul. We could not have asked for anything more (other than the presence of our two missing guests who could not make it). We happily endorsed this tour to anyone, considering it (even those wary of error due to low sample size!)

Fantastic sunset! - I booked the six bridges cruise at sunset time I had a fantastic experience. The area of Ribeira de Gaia and the port view from the boat are unique. The river is narrow and you can observe the shore and all the beauty of the city. I had the opportunity to taste different Porto wines and note 5 for the Rose — I had never tried. The sunset was fantastic. Worth every moment. I recommend without hesitation!
