Visit today- the cork and chocolate museums are amazing! - This museum has fabulous interactive exhibits and just enough text to hold my interest but not overwhelm. I learned so much about the origins, growing, processing and final production of chocolate! The bonus was three sample stations with a docent to describe what I was trying. The gift shop has very reasonable prices for fantastic quality chocolate! The cafe has amazing chairs. Overall a fantastic experience. We combined with the cork museum and were so happy! Visit today!

Fascinating museum - Everything you could possibly want to know about how chocolate is grown, processed, and turned into the products that we are familiar with today. Plus, opportunities to taste different kinds of chocolate.

The quick spread of cocoa. - Very interesting story of cocoa and how it spread around the world. Montezuma made a big mistake with Cortez. But we got chocolate around the world quickly.

History of Chocolate 🍫 - Very interesting, I learned a lot about the history of chocolate. The two girls who were supporting the visit were very available in explaining the different types of cocoa and their origins. I ended this experience drinking a hot chocolate in the store and… I really enjoyed it.

Cool experience - The museum is worth it. It's an exciting topic that you don't know much about. Chocolate can be tasted in the museum. At the end there is a shop and a café.

Too expensive for what is - There are many interesting museums to visit in the family, but this will definitely not be the case. The ticket is very expensive for what the experience offers. museum has few interesting pieces, just a lot of colors and hyperstimulation to try to tell the history of chocolate. The part from the harvest of cocoa to the production of chocolate is the only really interesting, culminating with the chocolate factory. However, once again the disillusionment in what should be the high point: the taste of chocolate is terrible. I tasted the white, the black, the milk, the pepper... all bad. It is better to put a chocolate from the brand pingo sweet or lidl, they are definitely more tasty.

One of the worst “museums” I have ever paid for - This museum was extremely dull and hugely overpriced for what you get. I would not recommend it to anyone. It costs 20EUR each and was fundamentally just a load of information about the history of chocolate on the walls of various rooms. So the experience is just wandering around a set of rooms reading the information on the walls. There were a few sacks of cocoa beans scattered around but no interactivity until the very last room. We expected much more interactivity and possibly some chocolate! At the very end there is a arcade grab machine were you get one go each to win a medium sized bar of chocolate (which non of us managed) and then four tiny (and I mean really small) bits of chocolate to taste. So we spent 80 Euros for the four of us on one of the dullest “museums” I’ve ever been to that only included a tiny amount of chocolate tasting. We should have just spent the 80 Euros on a book about chocolate and various bars of chocolate in their gift shop! The fact that we only encountered two other visitors in the whole place speaks volumes.
