• Vík Horse Adventure - The stable serves as both the starting and finishing point for the horseback rides. The journey takes riders along the stunning black sand beaches of Vík í Mýrdal, known as Víkurfjara.

Participants must be at least 10 years old, with a maximum weight limit of 100kg/220lb. Regrettably, pregnant individuals are not permitted to ride. We reserve the right to request riders to weigh themselves.

Experience breathtaking riding tours along the stunning black sand beaches of Vík, located in South Iceland.

The Black Beach Riding Tour offers a relaxed one-hour ride, ideal for beginners and those who ride infrequently, though riders of all skill levels are welcome. Our horses are friendly and sure-footed, making them perfect for exploring the wild Icelandic landscape. During the summer, you might catch a glimpse of puffins soaring above, while in winter, the ever-changing weather accentuates the rugged beauty of the surroundings.

Tours are primarily conducted at a walking pace, but those who are able can try the tölt, the unique gait of the Icelandic horse.

Please be aware that there is a weight limit of 100kg / 220lb, and riders must be at least 10 years old. We prioritize the well-being of our horses and may request riders to step on a scale. Kindly arrive at the stable 15 minutes before the tour begins.
